So it's like buying a new weapon over again!
Edit 1: holy hell this post blew up
Got some great ideas going on this. Keep it going and get it trending so bungo sees it!
Edit 2: I see concerns that everyone would have God weapons. This is why the cost of rerolling has to be high. And a lot of people already pay for weapon engrams at the gunsmith. Basically we just doing the same thing except for its on the weapon of your choice. I would even be ok with 100 weapon parts. Max glimmer. And 200 marks for a chance at reroll
Edit 3: perks... A lot of people I see here saying get rid of the useless perks. While I somewhat agree. The useless perks ha e to be there so god rolls are not everywhere.
And I know how this sounds when I want rerolls.
But with the cost being high. I think it would be fair
Edit 4: very good ideas
Customization
Let us reroll scopes
Specific perks
Middle tree perks
And they all have their own cost of marks and can be only done once a week
Or on arms you you turn your weapon into the gunsmith for a chance to have a reroll like how arms day works
Very good ideas

2 RepliesEdited by Jordan30589: 5/13/2016 12:25:23 PMIt should be like the division, we should be able to re roll only one column per weapon and thats it. So lets say I got a good sniper with good perks and shit scopes, then I can re roll the scope for around 50 marks but after that I can ONLY re roll scopes on that sniper. That would help god wrapons to be more rare and still depend on RnG.
-
If they did this you would just get the gun with the best/highest stats and keep rerolling that, making every other gun in the game useless.
-
2 RepliesThat's a little steep, as far as pricing.
-
Sounds great
...and balanced
Drop it to 120 and you have my backing.

Edited by ShadowKing292: 5/13/2016 2:43:44 PMHow about 50 marks, 25 weapon parts, and 100 of whatever material it needs (Spirit bloom, spinmetal, etc.)?
-
2 RepliesI think 150 would be too much. For instance, what if you get a crappy roll...
-
Edited by Freak: 5/13/2016 2:23:35 PM25 marks and unlimited rerolls per weapon
-
1 ReplyNo. Re roll made it easy.
-
I like one re-roll per weapon, and armor. Or only the middle column can be re-rolled.
-
1 ReplyI had my own idea. You dismantle legendary weapons/armor and you get a "Re-Roll ticket" dismantling armor gets you an armor ticket and dismantling weapons gets you a weapon ticket. 150 weapon tickets gets you a weapon re-roll and 100 armor tickets gets you an armor re-roll. Tickets do not drop from raid armor and weapons.

6 RepliesI don't understand the fear of "god rolls." What is the problem with players liking their in-game toys? Why do we have this game that teases fulfillment but rarely delivers, and why is this considered okay? I just don't get the desire to have crap nobody wants. That seems supremely wasteful of both player and developer time.
-
Re roll gear 10 mark
-
A 100 is enough

What a waste of marks that would be.

1 ReplyThis was a thing for a while at the gun Smith u til everyone was running round with rangefinder shotguns and final round snipers. Crucible was unplayable, it broke the game.
-
1 ReplyHave you ever rerolled stuff in this game before. I've rolled stuff 150+ times and didn't get all the perks I wanted. And bungie still took the one perk away and gave me 25% melee damage. -blam!- off Bungie!
-
I really like it, but... But people will start yelling at Bungie that "they created stupid lazy way to improve time-spending of players instead of creating new content blah-blah-blah".
-
No, too excessive.

-
I just want to reroll any legendary, maybe with marks or exotic shards
-
How about on Wednesday you can "Order" a custom weapon by giving the weapon you have to the Gunsmith and he can "Smith the Gun" to your specifications after a week or two, but you have to pay him like 50 motes of light, 25k Glimmer and 200 Legendary Marks, this way it is costly, you get punished and lose your weapon for a period of time but are rewarded for doing so.
-
I think 200 for your pick of main perks, once set you can't change the perks. maybe 15 for changing the sights/barrel upgrades and 150 for a random reroll on the middle row perks. this would have to change depending on the weapon manufacturer.
