As I'm sure a lot of lore enthusiasts know, Dredgen Yor's Thorn was once referred to as his Rose and was untouched by the Darkness.
Questline:
What if we Guardians go on a quest to restore Thorn and infuse it with Light. All you would need to do is have a Thorn to start the quest (making it a sentiment to Year One players/something for Year Two players to aim for) and go to the Speaker who would instruct you how to go on your quest. After different tasks relating to more positive themes, you would be granted the Exotic Hand Cannon, the Rose, from the Speaker(or a drop, etc.). Thus, the Rose would be very different and much changed from its very first form. But it would be pure.
Perks:
Main perk: Sign of the Restorer
- Every shot fired that hits an enemy restores 10% of one's health immediately. When health is full, gain a small armor boost.
- It would have a stability perk, ammo perk, and range perk for its tree to choose from
Extra perk: Prodigal
Hitting two headshots with this weapon returns one bullet to the magazine
Stats:
-6 bullets in the magazine
- semi-slow fire rate
- Low to medium range
- medium impact
- good stability
Thoughts? Is it too overpowered, would it be useful in both PvP and PvE?
