Radar still does the same thing, but it shows people as being closer than they actually are now. Wasted so many supers that WOULD have killed people in year 1.

Lol same also I noticed aiming puts a marker now which I don't like

The marker is placed on the target when using nightstalker. It's one of your perk tree options. And the radar changes when using different weapons I've noticed.

There's a lot of different things unless my game was behind I can see chests on the map now

It might be the perk on the weapon or nightstalker has that perk. I've only ever noticed boxes when using stillpiercer

The radar changes with the relentless tracker perk i think it's called and the tracking focus on guardians in pvp is a nightstalker perk.

I know the extended range ones, but past that dont know of any.
