lol screw this CoE week
Im putting this edit at the beginning, because apparently I can't critique bungie. The point I'm trying to get across is that I was killed a lot in stupid ways this week, either by syloks fire that I couldn't escape, or 3 goblins bursting me at the same time and getting insta-killed. I'm trying to say that I feel kinda trolled this week.
P.S. I've been playing for 3 months, and this is my first shooter, SO IM A NOOB!
I farmed the fudge out of last weeks Coe and managed to finish the exotic set, as well as a 320 ghost and a mark. ( Thank you so much bungie!!) but, this week is ridiculous! I know I'm not elite, but I have great strategy and gun skill, and yet died 8 times to the cabal! I also feel like goblins are sniping me at a coordinated time, also makin me salty. Anybody else same?
EDIT I understand that it is [b]challenge[/b] of the elders, but I feel like the challenges are trollish, like getting taken down in .5 seconds because 3 goblins shot me at the same time. I'm trying not to salt too much!

Yea the Cabal make it more of a challenge...the other 2 are easy as ever. And really the only thing that makes Cabal suck is the fact that berserk is on...

I only wiped once but besides that it was fairly easy. It sucks if the flayers run into the back and you have to run and get them

The challenge arena itself isn't that hard, it's the 30k and 90k points you have to get. Edit: You're just gonna have to get over dying and revive each other. It's not a big deal.

Didn't find it that challenging so far. Grenade kills while possible and precision kills while its recharging. Have hit 30k each run and once I do I immediately kill the hydra.

CotE this week is the most enjoyable challenge Destiny has offered to a solo player.

Got 50 k high score in one run this week!! :)

I got over 1.5 million cumulative score last week, speed running every round but 3 (1 30,000+ round per character) and only scoring around 15k-20k each round, and I [b]still don't have a -blam!-ing Prison Of Elders exotic![/b]

I was actually nervous for the cabal. Was pretty surprised how easy it was again this week. Spam those grenades.

Edited by ryebar: 4/20/2016 2:36:56 PMThis week COE is a bit tougher than last weeks. Still easily accomplished. I ran it on 1 character last night. No issues completing the challenge or green bounties from Variks For the Cabal round you fight from the room directly to the right when you enter the arena. Two players spam the adds with Grenades and DPS the boss. The other player uses a sword and takes out the appropriate Flayer. He communicates when the Flayer is down so you can focus fire on the boss. Remember to take your 3oC. Not hard.

Really not hard, plenty of people solo it even, get to a higher light level if your having that hard a time

When the Psions channel void, arc or solar kill the Psion with that elemental and hammer boss. Toss grenades when you have them. Swords work great.

It is not that hard, did it 3 times yesterday and had a blast tripmining everything. The cabal were annoying but very doable. No offense but you and your teammates just suck if you are having such a hard time.

Soloed it with multi tool. You just gotta run when your getting overwhelmed by the cabal. Just focus on finishing that round and make up the points in the final round. Stick to the hall that runs around the whole arena and toss grenades when you can. Just keep going until you get 30k and work over the boss.
