lol screw this CoE week
Im putting this edit at the beginning, because apparently I can't critique bungie. The point I'm trying to get across is that I was killed a lot in stupid ways this week, either by syloks fire that I couldn't escape, or 3 goblins bursting me at the same time and getting insta-killed. I'm trying to say that I feel kinda trolled this week.
P.S. I've been playing for 3 months, and this is my first shooter, SO IM A NOOB!
I farmed the fudge out of last weeks Coe and managed to finish the exotic set, as well as a 320 ghost and a mark. ( Thank you so much bungie!!) but, this week is ridiculous! I know I'm not elite, but I have great strategy and gun skill, and yet died 8 times to the cabal! I also feel like goblins are sniping me at a coordinated time, also makin me salty. Anybody else same?
EDIT I understand that it is [b]challenge[/b] of the elders, but I feel like the challenges are trollish, like getting taken down in .5 seconds because 3 goblins shot me at the same time. I'm trying not to salt too much!

I soloed it yesterday on my Hunter (40k) and then my Titan (46K). You can do it.

5 RepliesFor the third round all three should just camp in the rightmost back corner of the arena. It's perfect for clumping enemies together for grenade multi kills.

I'm certainly no PvE God, but smashed all 3 sigils out last night with randoms from LFG. I don't see what the fuss is about. If you want end game gear, don't expect an easy run every week.

I like it, mainly because last week i soloed poe 32 three times and died once. They should have started with this one first.

Hop on LFG. I did it with all 3 of my characters. Yes the Flyers are a pain in the butt, but trust me there are 1000's of others like yourself that want it done too. Not trying to dis your skill or anything, but with others it makes it so much easier and honestly enjoyable.

I knew this was going to happen and farmed with my fireteam for three hours for this very purpose. I managed to get the queensbreaker and dreggs promise. I know alot of guardians including me are happy that the coe is actually a challenge this week.[quote]Someone even said last week that Bungie shoulda called it challenge for elders. Last week was perfect but again, BUNGLE listens to the minority of the community and increases difficulty again. As a casual, I'm not looking for a challenge. I'm looking for something that I can run through in 15 or 20 mins per run. That way I can run through a couple times on each character and be done. Just another move by BUNGLE to alienate the casuals.

Well when you are not even getting 10k in one go of course it's going to take forever. I usually get 30k+ in one challenge and the exotic sets go by quick.

I'm not sure how people are having issues with the challenge this week. Me and a friend two manned it last night with a 40k total score by the end. Take some time and respec your gear, look at your skill tree layout, change your gear. It's honestly not that hard at all

I had fun soloing it with my warlock & getting qbb :) It was a challenge but then again its supposed to be :p

First encoutner with the Cabal hung us up, but in the end we were able to fly through the second and third runs with easy. Rewards for me were garbage but my fireteam mates got great loot.

I am no MLG pro, but me and a buddy 2 manned it, no wipes 2-3 deaths each and 34 k score. The mechanics of the Psions messed with us for a bit, but once we figured that out it was really not that difficult. Just focus on your grenade game and learn the cover spots around the outside of the cabal arena.

7 Repliesim gonna get bashed on hard for this possibly....but i still have no idea how the sigil works. i havent been able to get a proper straight answer to figure it out. so i ran it yesterday and got crappy #s (around 27k) the group i was with didnt have a mic on and kept dying every 3 seconds. it was as if they didnt know what they were doing.... now what? does that mean i no longer qualify bc i ran it once and didnt hit the #s? if i run it a second time to hit the #s will it make a difference? the reason im confused is bc i ran it twice last week, the 2nd time got me my #s but variks didnt give me anything. when tuesday came around he just gave me a new sigil. can anyone please explain what im doing wrong? thanks.
