lol screw this CoE week
Im putting this edit at the beginning, because apparently I can't critique bungie. The point I'm trying to get across is that I was killed a lot in stupid ways this week, either by syloks fire that I couldn't escape, or 3 goblins bursting me at the same time and getting insta-killed. I'm trying to say that I feel kinda trolled this week.
P.S. I've been playing for 3 months, and this is my first shooter, SO IM A NOOB!
I farmed the fudge out of last weeks Coe and managed to finish the exotic set, as well as a 320 ghost and a mark. ( Thank you so much bungie!!) but, this week is ridiculous! I know I'm not elite, but I have great strategy and gun skill, and yet died 8 times to the cabal! I also feel like goblins are sniping me at a coordinated time, also makin me salty. Anybody else same?
EDIT I understand that it is [b]challenge[/b] of the elders, but I feel like the challenges are trollish, like getting taken down in .5 seconds because 3 goblins shot me at the same time. I'm trying not to salt too much!

Since you seem to be a titan use Armateriam for the second grenade take some friends warlocks help a lot this week voidwalker if they use second grenade the hunger and embrace the void Blick and third nova bomb helps too first round we want to the right second we stayed in front and last we went to the right and cleared in around 30 min with one carry

It is annoying. Last week i could get 50 k towards then.but this week i just go strait into round to with the mind set of gettinv that shit done quickly. Because you know why? Fuk it thats why lol.but seriously its ok. Just everyone hold a different element on there heavy.and when its time.... slay the scion when your color is called. Cake

Hey, try these strats. They work best for me even if I'm by myself. Round 1: Stay in covered area that is in between entrance door and back left corner of map. It provides best cover when clearing ads. Clear each set of ads (use heavy machine for the two witches that spawn each time so you don't get overrun). Go to back left corner in between ad spawns to bring down boss. I found sitting as far back as possible on the left hand platform (when you are facing that corner) the best as his fire rarely reaches that far back on the platform. Just make sure you book it back to cover each time reinforcements spawn in. Round 2: There is reasonable cover on the roof of the building at back right of map. Start there and focus on first round of ads, not Psions or boss. Once cleared, kill each Psion in turn without damaging the boss in between because you might trigger reinforcements. Once all Psions are dead, damage boss until reinforcements come out, clear ads and repeat. The main thing to watch is the boss trying to stomp your head. Just keep a close eye on the radar. Round 3: Go immediately to far left corner of map which provides the best cover. Clear ads first (you should have good cover from Hobgoblins here). Once all ads are clear focus on boss until next wave of reinforcements. The hardest part of this round is keeping an eye out for the Snap, Crackle and Pop crap that appears above your head and moving out of the way until it's gone. Hope this helps.

To be honest man I get what you're saying I two manned it once this week to get the high score I'll probably try get cumulative tomorrow but when doing it, me and my teammate died 30 times between us in the cabal room I died 20 times and they died 10 but we just kept resing each other because we were killed by shit like getting stuck in dumb places or a bunch of psions havoc you at the same time it was scummy but we finished and made up for the deaths in the last room got the 30000 veriks punished us in that room.

Just run a void lock with the infinite nade chain. I got a good 40 seconds of solid nades recorded earlier this week. Sure you can't just burn the boss, but the ads are no problem and it's dead simple to get 30000 points solo. If you are having problems on a specific part, tell me and I'll give you the trick to solo it.

2 RepliesI also died 8 times in the cabal first time I did it because I kept charging the psions with raze lighter and getting stomped. Other than that it wasn't that bad, mostly because i had nothing manacles so infinite grenades.

End game content isn't the same as patrolling the cosmodrome, nor should it be. If you're not geared up and practiced in end game, you probably shouldn't critique it because you have no valid opinion. The challenges are not terribly hard if one knows what they are doing and can cooperate and communicate with others

Don't worry so much about dying. I die all the time. Its super fun to Just jump in the middle and try to make it out alive lol. Just have fun and learn from your mistakes. It's just a game. If you're doing the raid then truly try or get used to the boot.

2 RepliesThis ain't the division but good god when your in the line of fire take some freaking cover and heal your ass up before you continue trying to kill, COE is not hard but you do have to play strategically, it's not a legacy or vanguard strike where you can just go rolling over everything.
