how the hell are people getting 335
i ran the raid last week, with all 3 of my characters, i dumped it all into my hunter, i went from 320 to 323. i didnt gain any light on the segils.
i just ran the raid on my hunter(first character for this week) and went from 323 to 325. how do you mother -blam!-ers have 335 already?

We started at 320. And what helped me a lot was faction packages. They drop up to 330 so get around 328 then do the raid and it will drop high lvl gear

1 ReplyYou have to explore the other aspects of the endgame. It use to only be the raid. Now it's POE, Crucible, Court of Oryx, Nightfalls, and then the raid last. The loot system now is a bit more of smart loot. So if you are at 320 at reset, and go through each of the endgame activities before the raid, let's say at best you reach 326. When you go into the hard raid, you are more guaranteed drops 327+. Also some people may have multiple characters and transferred some of the gear to their other characters just to get them up to snuff

I did the raid, nightfall, CoE, and ranked up a lot off different vendors to get where I am. I liked the progression but it's going to totally kill the replay value.

Im 327. Upgraded mainly on PVE. Factions and vanguard give higher gear everytime. Been getting 331 gear lately

I no ppl that had over 50 exotic engrams just decode one for each and upgrade ya gear and then do it again thay drop over your light lvl

I've only done the raid once with my Titan last week. All 3 of my characters jumped from 313-315 to 326-328 now, and that's even playing less than I usually do every week. It might seem you're doing the wrong activities to bring up your light level.

Just raid bro. Use three of coin and molding shards. They actually work for me at this point. PoE is refreshing and drops some high light stuff as well. 1 to 1 is infusion is AMAZING but there's still a little grind. Anyone notice how fast everything goes down with that little extra light boost? Everything just melts.

1 ReplyJust did the hard raid on my hunter. Started at 328 and finished at 329. Got nothing but 320 drops all the way through and 333 primaries from oryx which I already had loads of

I started with doing poe. Then the nightfall. Spent tons of strange coins on heavy ammo ranked up fwc and got alot of higher gear. Fed that to all my characters (cap from vendors is 330) then I did the raid the gear I earned on my first char I put into my second. Gear earned from second char I put on the third. Gear from third I put into my first character. Finished with the weekly crucible bounty. End result 335 titan, 334 warlock and hunter (both just missing helm and gloves) I might farm nightfall for the helm and possibly the brothers strike for gloves I'm not sure how dedicated I want to be to be 335 on all. There's no real point I can wait until future weeks grant me the missing things I need. Also waiting till Friday maybe a helmet engram or glove engram which I'll decrypt on my titan. Also missing a heavy weapon on my hunter. But I reckon I'll get that next week from warpriest challenge. (also running Saber strike because that grants helmet and heavy)

Doe Poe, the court of oryx, back to Poe, (rock 3oC) and so on until you get the exotics and the level ups at variks. Then do your raid. I've got to characters at 334 and one at 333. Damn boots....

I just reached 335 on one character. Here's how I did it. I ranked up my Dead Orbit rank from 3 to 25. With each rank up, I get a package with a piece of gear. If the piece of gear has an attack or defense greater than my currently equipped gear, I put it on. Eventually the gear got me to 329-330. Next I raid. The raid will more than likely drop gear with attack and defense gear than your currently equipped gear. Make sure to also complete the challenges. For some reason, the normal mode drops from Challenge has the same light as the hard mode drops. Next I complete my nightfall. Simply put, I do it at the highest light I can be for a chance at strike specific gear, and for a good reward at the end. Finally, I run Challenge of the Elders three times to complete my sigil. Before I collect the rewards, I make sure I'm at the highest light. That's it. Nothing else to it. I never farmed out grinded anything more than I needed to. Within two weeks, I reached 335.

It's probably already been explained but they key after April update is to always max out your characters light. If you got your hunter to 325 then infuse till your next character is 325 then run raid and he will increase to 327 or so then do same with your last character.

Ran HM challenge 3x last week and infused everything into whatever character I was gonna do it next with. Farmed CoE all week. It was super easy to solo last week. Lots of 3oC considering I have 100 on each character and over 1,500 coins to buy more every weekend. Titan and Hunter are 335. Warlock is 1 point away from 335 because I need 335 chest armor. The thing that's pissing me off is that even though I'm 335 I keep getting a bunch of 334 gear like WTF!!!

trials of Osiris gives good light loot, personally I play pvp more than pve so that's how my hunters are 332 and my warlock is 328ish (cause I barely play him)

I had about 40 exotic engrams saved up. That plus a little bit of luck got me there.

Raid and packages make sure your wearing the highest lvl stuff you have and you will get higher stuff

Make sure your best gear is equipped when turning in engrams and completing activities. I can only assume that is the problem, or you're just unlucky as hell.

Easy bro...and without grinding because it's not necessary anymore. Just go read the update notes again. Then think and create a process prioritizing levelling up.

5 RepliesI'm mother 335, but here are some top tips: 1. Rank up factions/vanguard/poe/gunsmith/etc- packages can drop up to 330 2. Three of coins - exotic engrams can drop up to 335 - rush the bosses in challenge poe, pop a 3oc on each boss. 3. Don't use antiquated rune until you're a respectable light level. They'll drop anywhere up to 5 higher than your current light 4. Shaxx bounties - complete all 5 in a week, then hand in 6th for up to 335 rewards. 5. Raid/trials. I don't personally raid or play trials, but I hear this is quite effective. I jumped from 314 light to 327 in a week. Hope this helps someone!

1 ReplyI just raided and transfered all the gear to my next character and infused it. Then raided and transfered to the next, now my titan is 335 with all his gear and my other 2 334.
