Unfortunately all the updates till destiny 2 come out are all coming from the "live" team. Not gonna see anything new. They use the current content the best they can. The "development " team is working on D2. So, if you enjoy the game then play it. If you get bored, play something else. It takes a long time to create new content. But I forsee D2 expanding to more planets and possibly more solar systems. I've noticed they are gifting us ships like crazy too... maybe we will be able to use them in D2. Hope so! Destiny may be stale at times but they are going to be making content for a long time. Just got to be patient and full in the blanks with other activities.

12 RepliesEdited by REVIVE PHARMER: 4/20/2016 12:15:15 AMSadly, it's fading. Casuals are dropping like flies. Hardcores log on at reset, do PoE, Raid, then jump off until ToO. Trials is way too sweaty for casuals and regular crucible is awful. It's kinda sad.

Considering its player base increased from Year 1 into TTK, and the fact that it's still a very salty topic of discussion these days, I think it'll be fine. Also, I don't even think I have enough fingers to count how many games people predicted would 'kill Destiny' only to horribly fail.

I remember this debate when they changed from vhs to DVD.

15 RepliesSaw a youtube.com video that had been aired one day ago for destiny. Fine by youtuber. Had over 20 k views. Destiny is fine imo

For a 2 year old game, it's going quite well, bungie just needs to pump out some solid content and it will revive easy enough.
-
1 ReplyIt's nearly 2 years old. It's doing ok. People always gonna get bored eventually. Things will pick up in September.

I wish destiny and the division would have a baby

4 RepliesEdited by eleven11911: 4/20/2016 12:07:18 AMIt got its life back with the update but it wont last 2 or 3 more weeks, then it will be 4 months til the next expansion, will be too long, player activity will drop again and this time it will be worse than between ttk and the april update.
-
1 ReplyIts slowly fading, but the next update plus the hype coming with Destiny 2 will definitely bring some much needed life to the community

Can't think of any game that's over a year and a half old that I still look forward to get home from work to have a jam.

1 ReplyEdited by Saika YK: 4/20/2016 4:08:30 AMThis game is 2 years old, yeah it's faded, but what do you expect from a game that's approaching its third year?
-
No, it faded long, long ago. It's barely a shell of what it was in year one.
-
It's fading but it is expected to at this point.
-
1 ReplyI will never understand why people think a game is dying just because it's in a content low
-
7 RepliesLmao the division is dead.
-
1 ReplyCan tell it is just from lfg

2 RepliesEdited by GOAT Spartan: 4/20/2016 1:51:14 AMThis update breathed some life into the game, but if bungie really wanted to make this game last, this update would of offered a hell of alot of more than just a revamped POE. But bungie always thinks short term, not long term.
-
If you have to ask if it's fading, it's not fading. When a game truly is dying off, you won't need to ask. Trust me.
-
Still digging it

9 RepliesIf Destiny really is dying, we Desticles can take solace in the fact that The Division died first.
