Is any one else running out of ammo a lot lately in PvE?
Post update I have noticed that I run out of ammo a lot more often in PvE. In strikes, raids, and PoE I find myself completely lacking ammo. Even after killing a number of enimes there are no crates to be found. Not even primary ammo. I find myself sitting there hiding until the game auto regens ammo for me. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?
Edit 1: Thanks for all the replies. So it seems that lack of primary ammo seems to be a big issues.
Edit 2: Wow, I wake up to like 70 replies! Thanks for all of the comments guys. Still seems like the conseneus is primary ammo crate shortages for the most part. I'm getting mixed opinions on special.
Edit 3: 171 replies! Thanks guys, keep it trending. It appears that some are experiencing a sudden abundance of ammo drops at times, yet it is not consistent enough to prevent these droughts.

**For the people insinuating that discussing a shortage in ammo means we're complaining, we suck at the game, and/or "need our hands held" (not gonna say any names), please reassess your thinking. I believe that game is still easy with or without an abundance of ammo. Friendly discussion tend not to be so bad when you're not berating others. Just calm down lol. Stay beautiful guardians.

I always seem to run out of primary ammo. I'm okay on secondary ammo but there always just seems to be so much more green bricks when I run a fusion rifle for some reason. Also I keep on getting way more heavy ammo than I can do with so at least the purple brick drop rate seems to be working

For me it comes in waves. It will be dry to the point where I just punching mobs until something drops. Then it just rains ammo, then dries up when I move in to the next area. Except for heavy, I have done strikes with little to no purple bricks dropping. It's a real pain in the ass.

I run out of ammo so often that I am constantly using my hmg to force some to generate. Heck more than once I had to take cover and wait till I got some mercy ammo.

All the time. I run around with all 3 weapons red a lot now, it's ridiculous.

Got down to one fusion round (no heavy, no primary) the other day. Got more within a minute or so, but damn it got sweaty and I can't remember the last time sweaty happened in pve. (Yeah, I don't raid.) Actually bought special synth for the first time since Yr 1. So yeah, I like it. Ammo boxes lying around everywhere always ruined my immersion in the world.

Every time I launch a game I run out of ammo that's never been a problem. They've messed up the PvE ammo drops it makes the game so boring I don't want to have to run back to this spot I lasted killed the enemy, then come to find out there's no ammo there. I've been having to use primary synths that's whack.

I went to do bounties and the ONLY way for me to get special ammo was to use my supper because my shotgun has "replenish"

It's a major issue. The ammo "fix" has only made PvP worse, and made PvE a struggle. Interestingly enough, my Ruin Wings ensure I have heavy, and on several occasions in PoE, I have found myself with *only* heavy ammo.

Definitely have noticed a recent drought of primary ammo, even in patrol.

I have to camp in pve waiting for ammo to spawn back into my inventory. This sucks it takes a high paced firefight and slows it to a crawl. Shoot hide spawn ammo, shoot hide spawn ammo. More bricks will drop to compensate my ass! Oh they do bumgie [i]when I kill off the last wave of adds when I don't f***in need it anymore.[/i] That is how I know when I'm done fighting all the waves of adds. When I see ammo on the ground I know it's over.

I never have special ammo. At one point I literally had to complete a whole round of PoE without any special ammo.

I have not had a single ammo shortage. I In fact, I feel like I've been able to use my rocket launcher way more than ever. You know your primary does damage right? You don't have to use special/heavy only.

Primary shouldn't be a problem, secondary, however, [i]they said more would drop[/i], and look what happened.

2 RepliesRunning out of primary ammo is a big issue if you totally suck at this game. Really, it's not a big problem. Stop asking for your hand to be held. I've grinded PoE and have had no problem with ammo that much. Kids these days. Always whining about something.

It seems to depend. I have had a few instances where I had 0 ammo drops. I went 2 entire CoE without a single box dropping for me. Other times it was heavy and special for days. Not sure why the difference.
