Is any one else running out of ammo a lot lately in PvE?
Post update I have noticed that I run out of ammo a lot more often in PvE. In strikes, raids, and PoE I find myself completely lacking ammo. Even after killing a number of enimes there are no crates to be found. Not even primary ammo. I find myself sitting there hiding until the game auto regens ammo for me. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?
Edit 1: Thanks for all the replies. So it seems that lack of primary ammo seems to be a big issues.
Edit 2: Wow, I wake up to like 70 replies! Thanks for all of the comments guys. Still seems like the conseneus is primary ammo crate shortages for the most part. I'm getting mixed opinions on special.
Edit 3: 171 replies! Thanks guys, keep it trending. It appears that some are experiencing a sudden abundance of ammo drops at times, yet it is not consistent enough to prevent these droughts.

**For the people insinuating that discussing a shortage in ammo means we're complaining, we suck at the game, and/or "need our hands held" (not gonna say any names), please reassess your thinking. I believe that game is still easy with or without an abundance of ammo. Friendly discussion tend not to be so bad when you're not berating others. Just calm down lol. Stay beautiful guardians.

I ran out of ammo in a strike when I was running MIDA, field scout, and an armor piece that gives bonus scout rifle ammo. That's how bad the shortage is. I was forced to use my 1kys as a primary *shudders* it was awful.

Game about shooting aliens. Has trouble providing ammo to shoot said aliens. Community response says to git gud. The logic of the community is obviously misplaced. Btw. I have been having trouble with ammo as well. I normally get about ten packs of primary per room in coe, with one special and zero heavy.

Yuuuup. Multiple times in the new PoE i stand run around and try to find ammo for all 3 of my weapons.

I'm having horrible luck with getting primary ammo to drop. Did four strikes and went half the strike with almost no ammo.

It's been a pretty big problem, last night during the POE runs I was constantly out of ammo (no ammo at all on any weapon) and would have to run around searching for it. Not a good time.

Running out of primaries and special ammo a lot since the update. I don't see a patch coming anytime soon to address the issue. I have a feeling Bungie will make us buy more ammo synthesis instead.

I've been using JuJu a lot lately, so I haven't noticed personally. My teammates, however, have had this problem, and it's a little ridiculous how easy it is for them to run out of primary. It's called a primary for a reason, you're supposed to use it the most. You can't do that when ammo is so scarce.

Bungie - we wanted to make sure pve players had more ammo due to the ammo nerf so that's why we buffed it by 0.003%

For me I've been running our of ammo in any type of primary I use

Slight drop in primary drops for me. Special is dropping more often though(since I can not hold like 16 sniper and 18 shotgun shots -_-)

When routinely using it, I've had a surplus of sidearm ammo, shotgun ammo, and fusion rifle ammo.... You get three guesses as to what ammo I don't get much of. I know that it would really help for bosses. [spoiler]Tip: Hakke snipers can roll with surplus. Trades stopping power with abundance of ammo for all guns.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyI still don't run out of ammo I made my raid team run out though on war priest because I was the aura holder and I killed an enemy every time at 0:01 and they ran out of special and heavy if I would've shot him we could've done it in one run he had basically no health by the second round

I'd imagine you'd run out of ammo fast if you were doing hand cannon, sniper, and rockets. Otherwise you shouldn't run out of ammo that fast.

Have always had that problem and carry all 3 ammo types for that reason. Adapt and kill
