If you like Dark Souls, you are a weaboo.
Can't be denied, sorry guys. Everybody knows the games creator Hidetaka Miyazaki had lots of (awesome) inspiration from an awesome anime called Berzerk. If you like Dark Souls, you'll like Berzerk.
90% of these forum users just found out they are actually weaboos. I know it can be a tough eye opener here, but that's okay. We are here for you.

You played Destiny? Well guess what, it has ties to Souls that ties into your crap logic. So technically (by your logic) everyone with an active account on these forums is a Weeb. Why do people automatically jump to extremes? Every fandom has three types of people: > seen/played/read it, it was okay > loved it, collect some cool things here and there > the overboard fan that tries to pressure the world into interest, practically becoming a reincarnation of said interest (Weeb, bronies, some Trekkies, etc). Last I checked, a large number of Soul players either: don't know its roots, don't care, or are option 1 of the above about it. Never have I seen a Souls player who goes off about its roots and not the game they are playing. You are playing the old race card here with your logic: If you are (race) then you must be a (slave, worker, builder, etc). Your logic follows the same logic as the States did all those years ago. Not cool. [spoiler]Disclaimer, I have never touched a Manga or out of country comic book in my life. 7 RepliesI like Berzerk and don't watch anime. Berzerk is very western in many ways and extremely grimdark. Dragon's Dogma is very heavily inspired by it too.

Do you even know what a weeaboo is? You can still watch anime and not be a weeaboo. I personally don't watch anime FYI. But a weeaboo is when they take their "fandom" way too far by acting like idiotic morons.

1 ReplyDark Souls was inspired by many western (medieval) stories that.myazaki read when he was younger. He said that he did not completely understand English so he would fill in certain parts with his own story. This is why dark souls is so vague. Berserk inspired many of the characters in the game, such as Artorias.
