Why is everyone quitting strikes?
At least 75% of the time I'm in a heroic strike, my teammates quit, new ones join, quit, and repeat. This seems to be new as of the update.
Why are people doing this? Are they trying to farm a particular strike or something? It's getting ridiculous having to solo every strike every time
Edit: After 50+ replies saying "because winter's run" that makes sense. Wish Bungie added the taken variant to the map so I could still farm the heroic playlist for exotics and high light drops. It goes so much faster with actual teammates...

2 RepliesI jumped on heroic Playlist last night and joined a couple clan members. Both started messaging me telling me to leave because I was only 312 light (git gud, I know) after I bit of banter back and forth I started charging in dieing wherever possible laughing whenever the teabags and messages where coming in. I Stuck with them for 3 strikes before they finally left. I don't think I've had so much fun doing the strike playlists.

Lots of people probably just want a particular strike specific item. Grasp of Malok has evaded me for a while, so I try to get omnigul. You can thank Bungie for giving the bosses better drop rates in harder strikes. The best chance is in a heroic if it isn't the nightfall, so you end up with a lot of leavers in that playlist.

Bond brother's, saber, undying mind, ominigul, flayers. That's ALL I get to do and it's burning me out at this point. If I get any of those I'm quitting. It's just no fun

The only way to penalise players is to stop the vanguard buff on a counter.. Leave game, chances for vanguard gear stops for next 5 games plus 3oc .. Doesn't bother me if anyone leaves, just get on with it..

Sometimes people get the same strike 3 out of 4 times. Most people don't mind 2, but 3/4 gets old real quick. The problem is more about Bungie not addressing their strike rotation being repetitive. Same issue with the Crucible map rotations.

So they enter the playlist, if they don't get one of those strikes, they leave. I get what they're doing, but seems stupid. They'd probably get it quicker just farming the normal lvl strike like Triplewreck did in his hunt for the Grasp god roll.
