Thorn nerf... really?
So the most unique primary has been reduced to a legendary weapon, that tick isint even worth using anymore, at this point legendary handcannons will become better simply because any other perk will do. The thorn is annoying but, it has never been op in year 2, it should not have been reduced to a normal handcannon

It's ridiculous that they're still nerfing this thing. I thought it was balanced the way it currently is. A bit frustrating to get killed by but that's only cause DoT in general is annoying. 4 ticks of 2 damage isn't even worth using an exotic for.

Thorn (like TLW), broke the meaning of a Hand Cannon. They are supposed to be used as paced marksman firearms. With Thorn, you could subvert this by spamming it, and rewarding an unskilled hand by the way of not being a precise shot. imo, in a "competitive environment", killing DoT from a weapon has no place inside that sort of atmosphere. Now the Thorn Users have to aim for the head, and it's as simple as using a Legendary Hand Cannon. Big deal.

Then they nerf it again and still keep it as a Y1 weapon. I even tried using it in ToO and Iron Banner, it is far weaker because of light levels, now it will be incredibly weaker. Thorn has gone back to being one of the worst guns in the game now. Oh well, can't say I'm surprised.

I don't use thorn or suros but I really don't remember getting killed by them much. Have these 2 weapons really been a blight on the crucible ?

Its still a 3 shot gun. Same as TLW. Thorn was my 1st exotic, over 5K kills. Used it thru all the buffs and nerfs. Still will use it when I feel like it. Ya it was a pain to get when it was thru a Bounty but, still reliable weapon.
