Edit: Challenge mode is laughably easy and the incursion is a slow boring bullet spungy bore fest. Playing other games as well as destiny, won't be going back to division
Im no desticle. In fact I'm not even sure what constitutes being a desticle, but having put about 40 hours into The Division completing the story doing all the side missions collecting almost all collectibles and having a decent stab in the dark zone I can safely say I'm already pretty bored and think that even vanilla destiny had more to do at the same point.
I will certainly be giving the challenge modes and incursions a go but I just don't feel like I can be bothered to even skill up for them.
The division simply does not compete with Destiny's sense of theatre or game play. They're not even in the same league. The rng is a bit better, the story is a bit better but everything is a bit you know meh.....
Oh and it's buggy and glitchy as fuk. For a game that's been delayed for 2 years you think they'd iron some of that out. And content got cut.
The destiny and division are fundementaly the same game. Just because the point of view changes doesn't make it much different. I will reserve final judgment till I've played challenge and incursions but right now I'm all division till April 12th

33 RepliesYou are absolutely incorrect. Destiny is not even on the same level as Tom Clancy's The Division. The only people who prefer Destiny over Tom Clancy's The Division are unwashed simpletons who cannot and are unwilling to concede that the latter is far superior to the former. Tom Clancy's The Division is the best-selling new IP, and unlike Bungie, Ubisoft actually regularly supports the game and fixes issues quickly. Destiny cannot hope to compete with Tom Clancy's The Division. You're welcome.

I havnt even played division...I don't plan on it...but to be fair you can't judge the two games...Destiny has been out for a year and a half...if you compare Destiny first month out to division right now then I understand...I felt the same way players are feeling bout division in the fist month out "this game def didn't live up to my expectations"...I thought I was going to put down Destiny...then vog came out and the rest is history...more stuff out kept me playing...I'm still playing Destiny every chance I get...I think after 6months to a year then decide if ub did what you feel is a great job...I feel bungie did a awesome job here...just my opinion

Opinion.

I have 100 hrs in Division and the only thing it has better are loot drops. Other than that, Destiny is a bigger better game.
-
The division has a lot more math...no joke though. So many stats for different builds. Destiny has 3 build stats with perks that differentiate more...but anyways. Different games. Both great, just one I dont see myself playing anytime soon. Like in april.
-
I dont know how you made it through all of the side missions..I got 2 districts left just cant handle it anymore it's so boring.
-
Nah it's better
-
1 ReplyPretty much the same game? No. The division is much closer to diablo than destiny. They are similar in that they have guns and rng. That's about it
-
Neat.
-
2 RepliesYou comparing destiny which was out for 1+ years to a game that just came out lol you're a desticle kid
-
I like shooing the civilians when they come and ask me for my can foods ^_^ No. Those are mine. Have some of my bullets.
-
Its better
-
2 RepliesI agree that Destiny is more enjoyable but it's not really a fair comparison since Destiny's been out for 1 1/2 yrs and has had many improvements (many didn't consider it good til TTK came out), while Division's been out for like 3 weeks. I remember all the complaints about Destiny the first few weeks. We'll have to see how Division evolves.

Havent beat all the story missions so i cant really compare. All i can say is that im glad the game is taking me longer than a day to beat the campain unlike vannila destiny.
-
Personally I played the blame out of Destiny from when it first came out until this January. This January I reached my limit. The division is extremely fun right now. I'm 30 and 20 in DZ. If I get bored I'll hit up the new add on for Fallout 4.

4 RepliesEdited by lord_maverick_95: 3/27/2016 3:23:11 AMI've ran two of The Division daily challenge missions both times with a Fireteam of four it was approximately two hour grind.
-
Destiny is only better in a FPS capacity. If you prefer FPS mechanics to cover based 3rd person shooter then you'll be pulled to Destiny. Division wins on the rest.
-
They're not that comparable really. The Division is more like Dying Light or GTA online.
-
4 RepliesIm just happy I have two games i can regulary play now instead of one.
-
Don't forget about cut content being used for DLCs. You finish the story and it just cuts off. No ending. $40 for the expansion. The next mission marker even shows up, but you can't do it.

I luv How u just said how the division is better
-
Warframes better
-
Your opinion Also,
To prove u wrong
Watch this https://youtu.be/ETfiUYij5UE

So basically what u said is the division is better in every way. But somehow destiny is better

1 ReplyThe base game is miles better than Destiny ever was at launch. The game is far from perfect though. The loot and customization in itself blows Destiny's out of the water.
