Why are people so salty about Thorn ?
Everyone rages about Thorn and send hate mail, which I don't understand. Half the people that do this are using TLW and 1k stare, lol.
It's a good primary, just like TLW, Grasp of Malok, Doctrine, PDX.

1 ReplyBecause I was using back in 1.0 when everyone thought it was bad, but I was -blam!-ing dudes UP. I was destroying vanilla Mythoclast dudes when everyone called Thorn the worst gun in the game. All of the sudden they buff it and half of the players are using and the other half is calling for a nerf! All of the sudden my little diamond in the rough is this game's biggest villain.

3 RepliesI love thorn, it was my first exotic and I busted my ass to get it However, it needs to be revisited by the crucible team before its brought into year 2 competitive crucible or even regular crucible. Imo

3 RepliesI miss the days when hc's ran supreme, now i pull out my Fulcrum with explosive rounds get direct hits (that were clearly visible due to explosive rounds) and see the other person eat half the magazine with his health staying the same.

6 RepliesBesides the doctrine of passing it's the easiest gun in the game to use.. for a 3 body shot handcannon it has way too much stability and RoF. But anyone using TLW or DoP should have no quaral against you. Everyone used the Thorn at one point in time, in Iron banner or Trials.. but if you're using it pub matches..

I liked Thorn and used it quite a bit to counter TLW. They can't complain about it now because its not as OP as it once was. Its fine the way it is. Just ppl needing something else to cry about.

8 RepliesI don't send hatemail or cry about it, but your oblivious if you don't see why people do. .73 secs of shooting someone's big toe, then run and hide. No primary outside tlw at close range competes. This isn't even taking into consideration removing an opponents ability to recover and tracking through walls with the dot. Some people are annoyed by thorn, I on the other hand am annoyed by people who try and defend it. Tl,dr. It's in the game use it if you want. Accept it is still op.
