... It's not free dlc, I paid for mine!!! Not sure how you people buy things.
It's "free " if it hasn't cost me any money.
Some of you need to get some business lessons or more widely available, common sense.

I'm on a holiday in the Canaries, I booked and paid for my hotel as half board. Which means breakfast and lunch included.
Now, morning comes and I'm going for breakfast. I enjoy my breakfast and leave the cafe after I'm finished with my breakfast . Did I get my breakfast for free???
Afternoon time, I go back for lunch. Enjoy a delicious meal. Once again, I leave the restaurant without paying. Did I get my lunch for free??
The answer is No!! I didn't get it for free!!!
I paid for the whole -blam!-ing package!

1 ReplyWell first you don't specify whether the cafe/restaurant were in the hotel itself. So if you did walk out after said breakfast and lunch without paying, it was for free. However this is also called theft and you should be reported to the local police immediately. Also you say nothing in life is for free: Being born is free, Meeting your maker is also free, Unless of course you pay for your birth by meeting your maker. Destiny is great but one hell of a rip off at the same time. This question and conversation however is old. Whether it's free or isn't makes no difference now, you'll all get it no matter what the cost. None of you will leave, we're all here forever.

Nope you didn't even know there would be an update in April. Your 'common sense' is horrible. A good example is like I'm buying a pizza, I bought it from $10 pep. When I go pick it up, they say here have this bread for free, it comes with the pizza. When I ordered the pizza did I know it will come with free bread, NOPE I did not. BUT, since I bought the pizza it came with free bread. OP seems dumb so let me explain it with the hotel. Hotel says lunch isn't free and you rent a room. Later that day they say here have this coupon to get free lunch and because you RENT the room you get the FREE LUNCH. People that don't have a room don't get FREE lunch. You didn't know lunch was free until they gave you that coupon. Just like we didn't know the update was going to be free until they told us. OP also seems like an idiot, with the word 'free'. If you want to be technical with everything nothing is 'free'. If you get a free game off a friend it's not 'free' technically because then I have to pay for the internet and electricity. I hate nerds that try to make an argument out of everything. When people say 'free' they mean broadly not the technical. Being technical out of everything makes you delusional.

That's what I've been trying to say! I paid upfront for the WHOLE package when Destiny came out and when TTK was released as a "new" game. I was pissed off and not to mention, added bonus too? The bs of, oh season pass only cover y1 dlc. This update "IS" not free!

It's like how withing the past few years, every store and shop or mall now has large signs in their windows that says FREE WIFI. First off, they have always had free wifi, and second we are paying for a good or service so the wifi is there as an oncentive. It's bs!

You got what you paid for when you bought and downloaded ttk. The April update will be downloaded with things to do that weren't included with ttk. Therfore the April update is FREE!
