... It's not free dlc, I paid for mine!!! Not sure how you people buy things.
It's "free " if it hasn't cost me any money.
Some of you need to get some business lessons or more widely available, common sense.

Edit: I'll write a small example. [spoiler]I have used this today[/spoiler]
I'm on a holiday in the Canaries, I booked and paid for my hotel as half board. Which means breakfast and lunch included.
Now, morning comes and I'm going for breakfast. I enjoy my breakfast and leave the cafe after I'm finished with my breakfast . Did I get my breakfast for free???
Afternoon time, I go back for lunch. Enjoy a delicious meal. Once again, I leave the restaurant without paying. Did I get my lunch for free??
The answer is No!! I didn't get it for free!!!
I paid for the whole -blam!-ing package!
Nothing on life is free, nothing.

That's like if gta releases a free update and you don't call it free because you purchased the game. What it looks like is that destiny has a yearly payment, whether it be a new game or just a dlc. You buying that gives you access to all y2 content. Think of it any way you want, but when you purchased the taken king there was a list of what you were going to get. None of this was included.

2 RepliesIt's free. Want to know why? When I paid for the taken King, I was paying for "the taken king" alone. There was no fine print that said includes future downloadable content. Therefore, they are providing a downloadable expansion update at no extra cost because I already own the prerequisite. Which means, the update is free. -blam!-er.

This is stupid. It's free. You bought TTK for TTK. If Bungie said back in September that the April update would be a paid expansion, and that all you're going to get with your TTK purchase was TTK and nothing else, you would have bought it anyway. You didn't buy TTK with the expectation of future content being included with your purchase. You bought it for TTK. Free April update is free.

So u went there assuming u weren't getting any food and they surprised u that they would give u some food? Well u should find somewhere that the food is included guaranteed not just because u got lucky. Ur scenario isn't really very similar to the case at all. This is free content because it isn't what we paid for its extra.

Flaw I see in your example is you paid for your thing already knowing and was told breakfast was included for free. Where did bungee say we will get free or paid dlc with TTK purchase?they never did...so it's free.

1 ReplyWell first you don't specify whether the cafe/restaurant were in the hotel itself. So if you did walk out after said breakfast and lunch without paying, it was for free. However this is also called theft and you should be reported to the local police immediately. Also you say nothing in life is for free: Being born is free, Meeting your maker is also free, Unless of course you pay for your birth by meeting your maker. Destiny is great but one hell of a rip off at the same time. This question and conversation however is old. Whether it's free or isn't makes no difference now, you'll all get it no matter what the cost. None of you will leave, we're all here forever.
