If the April Update is related to Prison of Elders...
It just goes to show how out of touch Bungie is with the playerbase likes/wants and dislikes. POE was disliked by the majority of players and it isn't missed. I have seen so many posts here asking to make the old raid raids relevant again and none about making PoE relevant. Please don't tell me you're thinking of making that crap relevant again before a quality raid like Vault of Glass and even the slightly inferior Crota's End raid.
Edit- Whoever said they like POE but never beat Skolas... Your opinion is invalid.
And if you started playing during HoW and have more PoE completions than raid completions. Your opinion is invalid and biased. You didn't experience the previous content at its prime.

I've played since alpha with over 2000 of none ideal play time and PoE was (and still is) my favorite activity. I was actually super pissed when it was left behind.

I suspect it will the Court Of Oryx on the Dreadnaught that this takes place, and most likely will be some sort of challenge like Skolas was. We'll find out over the next couple of weeks..

My only issue with PoE is they never added checkpoints and the gear looked awful. One of those issues seems to have been addressed by the looks of the picture given. I will still always prefer a nice raid though. Beggars can't be choosers, I guess.

PoE was and is still amazing, we all wanted a hoard based game mode and we got it, but sadly most people neglected it fairly quickly since there wasn't enough variety or gear. To be honest I'm glad Bungie might bring PoE back and I hope they actually add variety and maybe even a customisable version that allows us to choose the modifiers and enemies, maybe even bosses? Although this is how I feel about the "new content" I really wanted Crota to return, Crota's End will always be my favourite Destiny raid and I always pay him a visit with my Necrochasm.

5 RepliesThey should make POE with a different reward structure! After the first round is completed you get a choice... Take the loot you've earned Or Try the next round with increasing difficulty levels Some rounds have garunteed drops. But if you lose... you lose everything! 😈😂

I liked PoE because you didn't need 6 players lol. I don't care what content they add as long as it's fun and I can look like the Taken. I hope they don't try to get "in touch" with their fans on the forums. They're too stupid to know what they like.

10 RepliesMy problem with PoE was the same problem I have with most Destiny activities. No matchmaking. Can we please just get matchmaking. If it's optional then why the hell do you all care SO much? Just assemble your regular group and do what you're already doing. That simple. And for the rest of us....I like to think there's enough "guardians of the right" that many of us would find good groups, meet new people and have 1st chances at things we've missed. It may require some patience some days but it would be a step closer than we are now and we could learn the steps we can make it through. Quit making each activity so "elitist" and share the content. The vets will do what they're already doing and us less social players might actually make new friends and groups. Enough already.

I like the idea of POE and the different stages. I thought it was great until most the boss fights. Some were good many were not. Skolas tho.....why just why

This is their play book, at least that's what they did in year one.

In my opinion, Skolas was very enjoyable and fun. However, the lower levels were very repetitive after about a month or two.

CE is far far worse than VoG, not just slightly lol. But eh, PoE isnt that bad honestly, the whole HoW time was ok. Better than TDB/CE in my opinion.
