Petition to buff Nothing Manacles
I am an avid Voidwalker in the crucible (I feel like Sunsinger is cheesy and I am not a fan of Stormcaller) but I feel like the exotic Nothing Manacles doesn't feel very "exotic" the tracking on them only occurs if you throw it right at their feet and it's just very underwhelming. I know other Guardians agree with me. So sign below if you agree that they should be buffed.
Edit 1: The problem is not getting kills with the grenades, it's that the tracking only works if it's right under their feet.

Edited by Doom_Fish_25: 3/17/2016 3:40:03 PMI kinda agree, its kinda like blood bound/ Blackhole with Tethers and Nightstalkers, if you shoot/throw it at a running enemy(like one with a shotgun) it won't even sense the target before start to track and just work like a normal shatter grenade, which ruins the point in pvp. Since most are running at you, shotgun or not, Personally it just sounds like the tracking should have been kept, not 2nd grenade. If I had to choose my favorite warlock class, it would Sunsinger.....because they are pretty overall balance in any situation. Though I do like blink, (voidwalker used to be the one I focusing on, before this disappointment.) (I hope its not going to happen again with my bladedancer and the gloves I am hearing about.) and storm grenade is my overall favorite grenade.

It would be nice if every exotic felt exotic and 90% of them didn't feel just like blue weapons with a fancier look about them.

Nothing manacles are already very strong. I use voidwalker over sunsinger in ToO specifically to use the NM.

This is why I don't run Voidwalker as much anymore and when I do my choice of exotic armor is always the Voidfang Vestments. I've gone as far as to use every Nothing Manacles I get as infusion fuel. That's how useless they've become since the nerf.

They look cool, hunters are all about aesthetics. I used to use them on my Warlock and they need a buff.

Completely agree! The tracking isn't good at all, I was literally talking about this last night w/ clanmates. Compare them to the tracking on skip grenades and its a huge difference!

About the only thing that would bring me back to Destiny at this point. Nothing manacles were my go to exotic for pvp in year 1.

It USED to be so deadly, now, they're mostly for the looks. These deserve another run at glory...a buff to the range of the tracking would help.

maybe just a little bit, they were quite OP in year one and i'd hate to see that again. But when you think about it, it will make people want to play voidwalker again

Just a personal opinion so please don't get at me saying this post is bull. I don't agree with this, I think the Manacles are amazing in Crucible and it's my fave VoidWalker build class. I don't think I should be helped if I can't throw a grenade on target but yes when it is on target, those mofos are gonna know about it. Here's why I don't think it needs a buff. It's an explosive type cluster grenade which means it has a multiple range blast plus you get two of them with the tracking so it does feel powerful to me. I run it with bloom so essentially if I throw it at a place where there are more than one guardian, I'm getting at least a double kill. It isn't a skip grenade which is an extremely annoying grenade, which pursues you to the ends of the earth then meets you in hell. However skip grenade will not kill a guardian with full health and pretty low armour. Several hits from nothing manacles definitely will and then some. Maybe you're not asking for them to be on the same tracking par as the skip's, but Voidwalker already has a relentless tracking grenade which is Axion Bolt so you have to choose which one to use. My thing is to throw lots of grenades, then have weapon kills which restore my grenade with a high discipline and intellect build. I've set it on my Warlock at the moment if anyone wants to check. Just bare in mind that the intellect level should be higher at present and is too skewed to discipline. Just my two glimmer.
