I'd Rather Patrol Than Do Dark Zone
I hate that there is pvp in the division. 3rd person pvp is ridiculous. Why is that a thing?
I'd rather patrol Destiny all day than do any more mindless boss routes in that stupid dark zone.
Seems there are already some Division fanboys out there.
Yes Division is a better game for loot and min/max and stats... I really like that. Dark Zone as it stands right now is completely stupid. You grind and farm rep by running in circles killing the same guys over and over. I enjoy the pve challenges and I like shooting stuff. I don't like the dz. Just mindless and then you die and loose like 2 hours of that grind?!

That's exactly what we were all doing in destiny. How is grinding the dark zone any different from grinding heroic strikes? Other than the fact that it's actually fun

1 ReplyThen don't play it. Do the Dailies...and use your Phoenix credits to buy blueprints. Then build the gear you want through crafting rather than trying to extract it from the DZ. That's the beauty of how Ubisoft Massive have built this game. You are not at the mercy of RNGesus....and lthere are number of different ways to get the thigns you need from the game.

They're named patrols that walk around that will drop phoenix credits, usually purple, and a small chance for a high end.

You Will Never Have As Good DZ loot as pre-patch. The Division, Dark Zone, BROKEN!! If you enter the Dark Zone without a team you will be rektd!! This is just FYI, UBIsoft couldn't figure out how to fix it? So they made it impossible for all. Don't believe me. Look at it like this-- Achievement-- trial flawless. (Good job guardian) In the Dark Zone-- extraction in 3, 2 , oops you died. (Unknown player) has stolen your flawless gear!! Hahahaha [spoiler]jokes on me. No money back-- scrub[/spoiler] I can still go do my silly mission patrol. And all the other destiny stuff I have done for 2 years.

Don't like it? Cool, don't play it then. You can get PC from enemies in the PvE areas. There are even patrols with named enemies in that area as well. I love the dark zone, solo or group I always have a blast.

1 ReplyThe dark zone is supposed to be a zone where anything can happen. And it does exactly that. Do you have any idea how stressful it can be going in alone?? Try running from three different groups adding up to 12 people trying to kill you simply because your there. If anything, i find the pvp side of dark zone, which is supposed to be entirely optional and it does exactly that, more fun than destiny's crappy pvp which only favors laggers. Not saying its bad, but bungie -blam!-ed up so badly that SBMM just might be included in D2 at day one.

7 RepliesUbisoft need to give us a reason to go rogue more often. I would like care packages dropped into random parts of the dark zone that contain two random pieces of high end (yellow) gear/ mods/ weapons. Make the care package public so that it shows up on everyone's maps. Give it a timer of say 5 mins until it can be opened, then watch everyone scramble to fight over it. Do this once or twice daily.

4 RepliesI think they should implement smaller dark zones around the map that lets you play typical pvp game modes. Like a zone that lets you matchmake with other people to play team death match, one that lets you play capture the intel(instead of a flag), and so on. I would love to get some friends together and be able to play king of the hill against another team of friends with great communication between each team. This would be awesome, plus some tweaks on accidental rogue status from snipe jumping, and maybe less consequences from dying as a rogue, say not going down so many levels but maybe limit it to 2-3 levels tops.
