No Y1 Weapons allowed in Y2 Crucible
Please, outlaw Y1 weapons in Y2 gameplay. The meta on Y2 changed, gunplay is more even. Bungie just changed Special drops in 3v3 gameplay to try and balance the game and what happened? Ice Breakers everywhere and that changes the game. It makes it harder for Y2 players to compete.
I'm not saying get rid of the guns - anyone want to run Classic gameplay than Y1 weapons should be allowed, just not for Y2 as they change the intent of the new gameplay and worse, make it harder for Y2 players to compete. Bungie, you want to grow, don't punish new players.

Imo if you put icebreaker on in trails to gain ammo and switch bck then your sad and should learn to use your primary. But soon as i see a icebreaker in trails then IM NOT giving myself the disadvantage and dam right im putting mine on and you know what they say fight fire with fire.

Why don't you buy some legacy engrams from xur. Seriously if you're a y2 player then, you should have no problem grinding out a crapload of strange coins. Wait till he has special engrams and boom....with a little luck, there's your icebreaker. Or a bunch of other cool weapons, specifically, HoW exotics

If youre feeling punished it because you y2 noobs have been spoon fed the whole ttk. Back in the day grinding out exotics was difficult and rewarding. If you arent willing to put in the effort to obtain y1 guns thats not bungie or the y1 players issue. Run vog crota and poe if you really want them, otherwise your opinion is worth nothing.

1 ReplyMy only real problem with this is in trials and iron banner, where only people who are super high light can use it without too much penalty. Maybe make a year 1 weapon debuff in those playlists? Idk, I'm fine with them in normal crucible but starting with special when no one else has it is just annoying
