They had one job.
Ea had a plethora of heroes and villains to choose from. They had Chewbacca, Bossk, IG-88, Yoda, Ben Kenobi, Lando, or even Tarkin. They could have had it all.
But what do they do instead? Scrape the bottom of the -blam!-ING barrel as usual.
BECAUSE EVERYONE WANTS TO PLAY AS GREEDO, THE GUY WHO HAD LESS SCREENTIME THAN BOBA FETT HAD LINES.

I was disappointed in battlefront after finding out there's no conquest. Yes, there's control, but I mean from battlefront 2! With 200 tickets a side and vehicles! [spoiler]well... It's not clone wars era so forget the vehicles[/spoiler] Where's CTF?! Det packs! They -blam!-ed up this battlefront. It would be been wayyyyyy better if they'd just made a re-skinned battlefront 2 for Xbox 1 and ps4.

11 RepliesRemember they can only use characters from the movies sadly. So I'm guessing lando is coming out for the dlc on cloud city. With IG88 as the villain. And Ben kenobi on the Death Star dlc. The good thing is rouge one comes out in December and Dice can use assets from that movie so fingers crossed for the last one.

tbh I think they are choosing to stick to one series because they could sell battlefront again but this time "clone wars edition" where it covers that era. I wish they just did a proper battlefront game and used all of the eras.

Greedo is a great pick, he's an iconic villain even though he only lasts 5 seconds. IG-88 and Bossk have all of 3 seconds screen time as well, and they aren't even named in the movies. Idk how you can suggest those guys yet object to Nien and Greedo because they aren't very big in the movies. Kinda sounds like you just don't like Nien or Greedo, which is fine. The outer rim hero should have been Ben Kenobi there's no two ways about that. They should have thrown in Nien with the Death Star DLC where he belongs. And you know Grand Moff Tarkin will probably be a Desth Star Villian. Lando will get dropped with the Bespin DLC and I'm sure they'll get Chewie in there at some point, at least they'd damn well better. Anyway I don't think these are the best heros they could have come up with, but I don't think they've gone crazy for picking them either.

7 Repliesagreed they had more noticeable characters to choose from however Nien Nunb had just as much importance of screen and Greedo sparked a debate that still goes on to this day (who shot first Greedo or solo) various things show it differently

Me and a buddy were discussing this last night. When I told him who the 2 characters were going to be... He whimpered..."...noo....." We then went over all the other characters they could have chosen. So much dissapointnent. They better add more main characters for free because these guys taking up 2 of the slots is awful. If they don't, then... Wow. Just wow.
