Anyone using Wifi stop now
Move your router if you have to. The difference is like night and day. For some reason Destiny is very sensitive to using wifi... I went from red barring every match with 15 download 5 upload speeds to perfect green bar and zero lag every single round... I cannot express how much of a difference it is. If you are having issues with red barring, switch to hard wired now.

I run a wired connection and still constantly red bar :)

Wireless connection creates a 0.25 second lag. It's enough to lose most battles.

Its because of their inferior p2p matchmaking system. The fault is on the system for not foreseeing that people use wifi to play games more often than not.

1 ReplyI can't even play the game unless I have an ether net cable running up my basement stairs to my xbox one. Kicked to orbit every 2 minutes. Funny thing is my ps4 that sits 2 feet away never had any issues, played since alpha
