Already awaiting the comments calling me/others fat 20 year olds who live in their mothers basements trying to win internet arguments and disprove people.
Either way, are you a Christian or Atheist, and if applicable, were you born as it, or did you convert? Flamewar will happen eventually, so don't even bother trying to stop it.

56 RepliesEdited by Princess Anomaly: 3/3/2016 1:00:48 AMEveryone is born an atheist. You only start believing in a religion after someone, generally your parents, has indoctrinated you into it. No one is "born Christian." Babies aren't born believing in a deity.

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 3/4/2016 1:43:19 PMAgnostic atheist because admitting our own ignorance > a primitive concept on the nature of existence that people define differently to suit their own wants and fears that divides us and results in us fighting and killing each other

Edited by SwedishViking02: 3/4/2016 1:39:31 PMIm not a Christian or an atheist. I belive there might be a higher power. I dont go to church becouse church had done to many wrongs that they wouldn't have done if they actually had something to do with god. Therefore i might belive in god but i think that christianity and many other religions use god to get money and power. If i had to follow any religion i would most likely be a buddist since they worship knowledge and science.

4 RepliesYes. I'm deluded and indoctrinated. You atheists are the free thinkers, you know, believing everything popular culture says about religion.

2 RepliesEdited by Reggie_Wok: 3/3/2016 4:05:39 AMI converted to Atheism from Catholicism a long time ago for two main reason. Reason one, it was just less of a hassle to not believe because not only was church boring, but I also saw it as a huge waste of my time. I would rather be watching Sunday morning cartoons than going Mass or CCD because I was 6. Reason two, their constant threats of hell started to really piss me off as I saw believing to be good enough. They would always say you're going to hell if you didn't go to Mass, read the Bible, or some shit like that. I basically told them to screw off and give me some real tangible evidence that God existed, which they couldn't. They just said believe because God is our holy father or some bullshit like that. I mean, I was 6 and I wasn't even buying this shit. They were also really uptight about food drives and reading the Bible, which got annoying because they would act like a fūcking crime had been committed if you didn't do exactly what they wanted. I never really believed in God to begin with and going to Mass/CCD just gave a negative view of the Catholic Church. I need some amount of proof if I'm going to expend the time and resources to worship a deity, but currently I have none, so I'm atheist. All in all, I really don't give a shit what other people believe, so long as they don't push their beliefs onto me.

6 RepliesI'm a Christiest. I may or may not believe in the existence or non existence of the possibility that the deity God may or may not have tangible or intangible value.
JK, I don't believe in any of that mumbo jumbo.
My parents made me go to church and Sunday school for most of my life. The only thing I got out of it was boredom on the weekends for two hours. My parents got a lot of complaining.

2 RepliesI've decided all the people who make posts related to religion here are stupid because they can not navigate the Internet properly. If you want to have a good conversation about Christianity and will be offended by people that disagree with you then go find a Christian forum and discuss it there. If that's going to bring some sort of fulfillment to your life then don't do it here. The same thing is applied to atheism and politics. Yet the posters here can't figure it out.
