I had a great idea for a perk for defenders. It would be a pair of gauntlets that allows you to have something similar to fist of havoc, maybe less damage or radius, that then pops a bubble.
What do people think? Too OP or a good way to compete with new class abilities?
Edit: so some people think Defender is fine the way it is, others think that the defender shouldn't have perks geared towards offensive capabilities and then some people like the idea.
Also some other good ideas mentioned below! :)

3 RepliesCool idea, but how about a simple one that grants Bastion and increased cool down

1 ReplyEdited by MrPoPo33: 2/25/2016 10:29:40 PMThat would be pretty cool but like someone else said that'd really make FOH pointless though it kinda already is with landfall stormtrance which is FOH that goes into roided up bladedancer lol I already drop my bubble on top of people's heads though, if you have armor of light you can do that and usually just hit them with a double melee

Melee kills have a chance to pop a small bubble for 10 seconds upon the kill.

I'd like to see something that gives you an armor of light shield but no bubble

4 RepliesDefender is fine how it is

4 RepliesMaybe a perk that allowed you to move the bubble? I don't know how it would be balanced but it would be cool!

5 RepliesHow come nobody ever suggests Defender exotics that are actually about defending? People keep trying to turn a support class into an offensive class, which makes no sense. That's why Striker is there.
-
Or it could be to make the bubble stronger which would need to be hit alot in order for it to be destroyed
-
It should add a small shock way when you cast the bubble like landfall

3 RepliesWould be sweet if you popped a bubble, and everyone inside becomes invisible, also with the added bonus of your weapons/blessing (whatever one you choose). Imagine just creeping around the map with your whole team invisible. I'd think this would be better in pve

I think that would make the striker subclass super pointless. I always thought a good exotic would be one that grants armor, blessings or weapons so you could have 2.

3 RepliesEdited by NickChrome: 2/25/2016 8:35:40 PMInteresting. Like when you pop a bubble anyone who would be inside it, will take damage, but only one time not damage over time
