Seriously? Crying over every gun. Yet I bet when you're using it it's perfectly fine, but when it gets used against you that's when it's a problem.
Or is it that you're not good enough to get it so you cry for nerfs? Which is it?
Can we go a full month without someone crying to get a gun nerfed?
The Doc is awesome, but it isn't OP in any way. There are plenty of guns that can beat it. This place is just filled with folks who cry for nerfs.
Nerf criers need to be nerfed.
Because now Bungie will nerf it, and well...we've seen how they do their nerfs.

I mean they'll probably nerf fusion rifles...again...

Edited by ruppettypuppetty: 2/26/2016 9:35:43 PMI have an adept counterbalance one, I don't use autorifles, they're extremely boring to me, not saying they're bad, but just the actual using and animation of firing the weapon is incredibly tedious imo. Bring back hawkmoon I say, I went for headshots all day long and that felt like you earnt the kill as opposed to just hosing people down. With doctrine it feels like whoever started releasing they're nozzle first wins. That's boring for me unfortunately, I will say this however, a 4 man fireteam all self res Warlocks spamming firebolta and doctrine is whilst incredibly tedious even if well timed, it also shows a major lack in gunskill in terms of one on one encounters, again just my opinion.
-
Its almost as if autos are supposed to dominate short ranges.
-
People always cry about shit that kills them, because God forbid they'd be less skilled than their opponent.
-
4 RepliesDoctrine of passing behaves the way auto rifles should. You do realize other weapons are supposed to be able to compete against last word/mida right? I say buff all auto rifles impact wise so people will use more variety
-
I think that the one thing we can all agree on is that fusion rifles need a nerf.

Edited by Kitteh Force: 2/26/2016 8:53:31 PMEh... Idk. I don't think the game should be about the "best" guns running the crucible. The game should have multiple guns that can work in all guntypes. Right now you just have DoP for Auto Rifle. People say, "Oh this gun is good too." but I've never seen another Auto Rifle in Crucible other than the Doctrine and I've been playing for a month now. Doctrine gets play because it is the most OP Auto Rifle, at the time. Seeing as how it's a fast fire rate with barely any recoil, that's not considered a balanced gun. What they need to do is actually balance the guns, so that it's not just about these handful of guns but Bungie doesn't know how to balance other than nerfing entire archetypes, so... You'll just have to get used to the "Nerf this" and "Nerf that." Edit: Wait, I saw hardlight a few times. Didn't win most encounters, though; probably why I haven't seen it in a while.

Edited by addidadaddi: 2/26/2016 8:34:01 PMI see a problem with other guns not being able to compete with it

Hol Up! Hol Up! Muthafukkas are asking to nerf Doctrine? GTFO!
-
Word. It's ok but I wouldn't call it a God weapon. I've only had mine a week and honestly, I use it because it's fun. I still lose plenty of gun fights with it. It would be really irresponsible to nerf it. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but don't they put the guns in a FPS so people will attain them and use them? People complain about "META" weapons too. Though I would agree that its boring to see the same stuff running around, it's not like those weapons are generally easy to obtain and use. I have some core weapons I use and some I just use for fun. It would be nice to have some reliable 2nd or 3rd load-out choices but there are limited weapons within the archetypes that are equally as good as their counterpart. Seriously, this game has been changed more than enough, leave the good stuff that's left alone!

If your hanging out in close quarter areas and someone has it, it wrecks, like Thieves Den or Drifter. Your right, I suck at PVP, but I don't complain about the weapons getting used. I use Doctrine, TLW and Mida, their fun to use. Why can't PVP be fun too? Sunbreakers, that nerf, was too much, I can't sunstrike kill anything unless they have damage on them. Poor Titans.
-
I don't know if it is overpowered, but I see so many people using it. There should be more variety in top tier weapons. When I do frequently see the top players in PVP matches using one particular weapon, maybe it should be investigated.
-
the real crime is 99% of the guns in destiny cant compete with the meta guns, whats the point of having so many guns bungo might as well just give the same guns to all players in pvp
-
I have one and I use it however imo the only thing I could agree on needing changed is the size of the clip - mag is too big allowing you to spray down 3 people with absolutely no finesse or accuracy needed.
-
2 RepliesIll never get this gun cuz I never do trials. But no way I'll be asking for a nerf cuz I luv using autos in crucible.
-
People just notice it now because IB is here. A lot of really good pvp players come out with their trials gear and people get mad that they are good in the right hands, and they have high light levels from the lighthouse gears and weapons they get. It will pass.
-
2 RepliesNot crying, just think the damage falloff over distance is not in line with the rest of the autorifles. Should be adressed i an update soon imo. For the rest it is fine.
-
1 ReplyGlad I'm not the only one that feels this way lol
-
3 RepliesI went to use fist of havoc; the guy started shooting when my arms flew up and killed me before I could slam down, he then continued to shut me down everytime I tried to use a super near him so yeah I think it needs a little bit of an adjustment.
-
2 RepliesI hope youre not surprised. This community bitches about anything that kills them more than once
-
If they nerf doctrine there is no reason to play trials
-
Scrubs cry about emotes, what you think?
-
Are you really surprised by this?

Lol I use the gun and I think it's stupid
-
The gun is good, but not op good, its like the only contender against TLW
