1 ReplyI have been extremely hyped for playing the division ever since it announced back in 2013. When I finally got to play it I was very underwhelmed and didn't enjoy it. After 2 hours I had pretty much decided it was a disappointing game. The next day one of my friends asked me if I wanted to play it so I reluctantly said yes. We played for 3 hours and the more I played the better it felt. Every minute you play it just makes since and gets better. I highly recommend playing it

7 RepliesEdited by charbr88: 2/25/2016 2:26:07 PMGood news Destiny diehards. Soon your have the game all to yourselves, and you can share your elitism cancer to each other. I take the dark zone rogues over you guys any day. Edit: at least in the division, jerks get signal out with a red skull and hunt down like the dogs they are. Lol

I mean you can't kill something that's already dead

2 RepliesAm I the only one still having fun in fallout 4? Especially with the new dlc coming out, just wondering how you guys feel

It's an RPG. THATS WHY.

3 RepliesI couldnt even be bothered playing the beta. I think the best decision for any destiny player looking to play another game would be to play a single player game, gives you a chance to relax hassle free and divulge into some story

24 RepliesI decided to play the beta with some friends. Here is what I found. The division is very similar to Destiny and Warframe. The loot classification is exactly like Destiny. I'm not going to lie, they completely ripped it off. There is white to start, green is next, blue is he higher tier of casual play, purple is obtainable from higher end content, and yellow is the rarest of them all. It's similarities with Warframe consist of the Social Hub continuously getting more and more as you progress the game. Another similarity to destiny is the enemies die and drop ammo and loot based on who you kill. It also has ability cooldowns for equipment items and a rearrangeable skill tree based on your preferences and team build. To Warframe, the weapon upgrade system is very similar. You may buy, find, and sell weapon upgrades that can be used on different weapons of any rarity. There are still many things to be found in the Social Hub that are inaccessible in the beta. This also includes most of the perk tree slots. As far as gameplay goes, I feel like I am playing GTA without vehicles. As review, I won't say the game is bad. It's quite interesting. I don't understand the story yet but we will find that out when the game releases. It's not bad, but it's not what everyone is expecting it to be. The game mechanics are all 3D and you cannot play with a fast paced play style. You have to find cover and use it until you can push further into enemy territory without getting hit by a melee enemy. I also am not a fan of the GTA style. There are slight delays and the game feels choppy. This game also highly relies on PvP. If you don't have a team, you are at a disadvantage. You will be outgunned and hunted with lower player counts. I can't say anything on the different types of weapons yet, but I can say that Rarity, and Damage matter. Newer players will have a hard time playing against players with higher gear. You will also, need to grind with a disadvantage to have access to the gear that will even out the playing field. You will also lose progress as you lose to other players. All in all, this is not a solo friendly game. This game focuses on PvP rather than PvE and it will be necessary to grind with friends to get better gear. I am going to buy this game to play with friends, but I don't see this as a go to game for me.

18 RepliesUnless they're hiding some end game content the division is going to get old very fast.
-
The division will not kill destiny, it will give the players a different atmosphere until the new content drops

You mean like Cathedral of Dusk?

4 RepliesI honestly don't give a shit about the division wether it's good or bad but I do know that every single game that gets hyped up is on the forums saying it will kill destiny and then we just keep on seeing all these other games die and then here comes another blank will kill destiny who gives a -blam!- they are video game that even the best will die it's fun for the people that like then get over yourselves I myself played beta and wasn't impressed it's just going to be a disappointment to everyone that over hyped this game for over a year so have fun playing whatever game you like nobody else should care what another person plays grow up community please because in the end the community crying about everything is the reason destiny is dying plus well bungie
-
It will kill Destiny for me and millions of others. It's all subjective. For the people that are still addicted: No, of course it won't kill it. Nothing other than addiction counseling will kill Destiny for those people. For those of us that are not addicts, that have had our loyalties to Bungie severed, and enjoy the Division: Yep, it will kill it. I know I certainly will give Division a chance to do what Destiny couldn't, and there's plenty of people just like me in that regard.

4 RepliesHahaha. The Division is good, but it wont kill Destiny

11 RepliesI enjoyed the beta. Spent alot of time in the DZ and ended beta with a pretty average build: 5387dps / 4190hp A couple things annoyed me that will probably get smoothed out. Like choppy cover mechanics and severe ammo shortage. The sticky bomb is going to be an issue. The amount of damage it does can leave most players with 1/8th health. I liked the pve part as well. Reminded me of some DCUO. All in all, it was a really good experience & I will be playing on the 8th. Destiny will likely see steep declines in numbers for a little while. But players will be back & split time as always.

I enjoyed the beta. It was a nice change of pace from destiny. I ordered the gold edition or whatever for $99. I make enough money.so the extra stuff will be fun to start out with. I will end up switching between games probably. In the end it's just a game.
