32 RepliesYou have 2 hunters and a .65 kd lol

The smoke isn't overpowered at all. It's balanced. It's the fact that hunters can throw a grenade and smoke bomb at the same time. It's like a guaranteed kill. It doesn't happen to me that often but it is annoying when it happens.
-
You can comment on balance when you have one of each character and get your medal score somewhere near the point of showing you've played more than one control match.

-says smoke doesn't need nerf -talks about everything expect smoke Well done OP

10 RepliesShade step. This hands down makes them over powered. No other class has an evade without using armor.

18 RepliesEdited by Lesstorr: 2/24/2016 2:54:45 PMRight now, the only problems in pvp are viking touch bolt grenades, the duration of the stormcaller with transcendence, and sunbreaker being alittle weak right now. Voidwalker, striker, bladedancer, and Gunslinger are balanced perfectly. Nightstalkers are alittle above average if you use all of your tools correctly. Defender still needs alittle something, maybe a 1.5-2 meter increase on the bubble diameter. Just my thoughts, and I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. Check stats if you doubt me Edit: The hit detection on shoulder charge and bladedancer could also use alittle love.

2 RepliesI die to smoke more then I die lock grenades

Edited by JLoco11: 2/24/2016 7:32:41 PMAre there any other subclasses that have 2 TYPES of grenades at the same time? You can have 2 of the same grenade type with the right ability or armor... but smoke essentially gives Hunter a second grenade type. No other subclass can have 2 grenade types at the same time. Poison should have been it's own grenade, while keeping smoke as nonlethal.
-
Smokes do three things when they should only do one! First they cause damage, secondly they blink you, and thirdly they slow you down!

3 RepliesEdited by Dabu: 2/24/2016 7:31:50 PMIf you see me running straight at you GET OUT OF THE WAY, I'm tired of people complaining about shoulder charge. It's not like you can blink or shade step out of my way.

Lol backstab.

Looks like your brain got nerfed hard.....

I think you need a grammar patch

Edited by Corrosive Fear: 2/24/2016 6:26:33 PMTitan hammer have NO explosive range usually the only way to get a kill is to hit the enemy with the hammer directly. Hunters are notorious with their ability to have 2 throwables and the throwing knife is ok but the smoke needs some tweaking reason is why would a smoke prevent me to do ANYTHING while in it you're telling me that i cannot move at normal speed because a gray cloud is over me why? Or the fact that even without poison it does damage total logic. I don't understand why you sound like hunters are so weak gtfo, Really the smoke and nade combo are quite annoying tbh but you act like Hunters never earn kills. Hunters infest crucible with the move evasive abilities in the game Shadestep, Blink, or just go invisible making you're class the best of avoiding supers and melee. And if you didn't notice titan shoulder charge hit detection is about as good as bladedancer hit detection (Even though bladedancers get 3+ kills every time. Really you think Sunbreaker is easy to use even though all 3 of you're supers require little to no skill to use.

Edited by e92BlMMER: 2/24/2016 6:14:14 PMIt don't bother me but shyt spreads in destiny quick .. A few weeks back tether hunters never used their smoke grenade that much in pvp but now when you see one they auto-trow smoke grenade when they are the ones starting the fight... Shyt is funny as hell they look like Clowns then they shadestep too cheezy

Edited by x_Wicked--Rage_x: 2/24/2016 6:10:26 PMJust to be honest. This post was created for personal interest to learn what the Warlock and the Titan hate about the Hunter in PVP. To gain an edge more less. I just recently started playing PVP and I'm just trying to gain knowledge about the gameplay. The do's and dont's. I don't think one character is stronger than the other. I'm pretty positive Bungie is equal in all three guardians in one way or another. It's the players choice in what they run with and how they play. All have their down sides just as well as up. I'm a hunter through and through. This helped a lot,so thanks for all the insight. I read every post and reply. And the criticism was expected. Lol no harm no foul. See ya in PVP.

Edited by Lillaourabee: 2/24/2016 6:02:20 PM
for those of you crying about warlock's firebolt needing to be nerfed. Lol just play the game. Explain how a warlock is over powered, but lease enlighten me.
That's how it would look if you huntards where warlock's, or had firebolt grenades
-
My problem with this as a hunter is that the smoke does have a big role in playing Nightstalkers and while I agree it's good its not overpowered although hunters are not at a disadvantage as some would say. I mean golden gun may only have three shots and arc blades hit box makes dark souls player cringe but their subclasses have exceptional abilities, so in over all the super problems from warlocks and shoulder charge/sun breaker from Titan are not like crazy in comparison to the hunters playability if you have the skill.
-
8 RepliesIf you're going to compare subclasses at least compare them equally. Don't compare a support class with offensive classes. This is how your logic is like: "Man, the defenders are so under powered. We have a super that can't even kill and gunslingers and voidwalkers can one hit kill with their supers." Compare the night stalker with other support classes.

Smoke disorients and slows targets while dealing damage. It's basically the same as a second grenade while titans have the worst melees ever and the lowest range. Needs a nerf.
-
I have played on both the titan and warlock. The shoulder charge is not a guaranteed one hit kill. I couldn't tell you how many times I have been gunned down trying to shoulder charge. Or how many times I have hit someone with it who didn't die. But I have seen my share of one hit kill blink strikes. However you also leave out the part where hunters can go invisible. Give titans and/or warlocks the ability to go invisible or 3 shots with the voidwalker and striker subclasses and maybe just maybe people would stop calling the hunter op.
-
Nothing is op
-
Yeh there smoke is avoidable everyone
-
You have a 67,000 medal score, why the hell are you giving your input on crucible? Anything you say is invalid lmao

Just a video game people and like all video games your going to eventually stop playing it
