Honestly, it does as much harm to your body as alcohol. If alcohol is legal weed should be legal.
-
Of course it should 1. It would stop us from wasting a shit on of money imprisoning non-violent offenders 2. Taxing a legal weed trade would mean big money (that we would put into the military for some reason) 3. Unlike cigarettes, it can be used for medical purposes 4. It doesn't coat the lungs of whoever's using it AND those around them with f*cking tar 5. I really like being able to see conservatives unhappy 6. You can't exactly overdose on Weed, unlike a certain beverage I know of that happens to be perfectly legal... 7. It can be used as a safer and non-addictive alternative to the medications pharmaceutical companies produce and pay doctors to overprescribe 8 . Cause it's really really good shit man
-
The fake stuff is more dangerous and no one has ever died from marijuana
-
I'm pretty damn conservative but don't see a problem with legalizing it. We can tax the hell out of it. Not like we do a good job of keeping it off the streets anyway. Before I turned 21 it was harder for me to get beer than it was to get weed. People still make moonshine illegally and I'm sure people will still grow pot illegally, but we can cut waaaaaay down on those numbers and make some money off it. It's not exactly a harmful drug either.
-
It isn't as dangerous as other legal drugs, so why outlaw it? Plus it can be taxed.

1 ReplyIn a state where weed is legal, it is healthier. Reliable distributors, vaporizers (healthiest way to inhale), and edibles are available. It is huge income for the state and is less harmful than tobacco and alcohol. Anyone who wants it illegal is ignorant.
-
I'd like it to remain illegal but if it is to become legal I'd like it to be up to each individual state to decide if it should be legal.
-
1 ReplyI don't use any drugs and wouldnt either way but if you want to say we are a free country then all drugs should be legal.
-
1 ReplyIf it gets people to stop vaping ....
-
Is it worse than cigarettes: no Legalize it or ban cigs

I don't know about your schools but at my school all of the stoners are complete dumbasses.

3 RepliesI'll just set this here
"Smoked marijuana damages the brain, heart, lungs, and immune system. It impairs learning and interferes with memory, perception, and judgment. Smoked marijuana contains cancer-causing compounds and has been implicated in a high percentage of automobile crashes and workplace accidents." -- John Walters Director, Office of National Drug Control Policy Syndicated editorial Mar. 2002
-
Both but have both cigarettes and Marijuana be illegal while driving and in public.
-
1 ReplyBoth, but kept under similar rules as cigarettes are under in terms of recreation. Stuff can still be dangerous for driving as well.

Recreation and medical. Medical-gives benefits that can treat or help patients cope with stuff. Recreational-harmless, fun, better alternative to "get away" than alcohol. Seriously, when have you heard of people overdosing from marijuana? (Aside from synthetic, or K2, which is synthetic, which isnt even marijuana in the first place)
-
Full legalization is needed. Yet to lead the way for a better understanding, Medical as a first step is a welcome choice or at least Decriminalization.
-
Who wouldn't want to legalize Gods broccoli?(marijuana) What are you a bunch of God hating communists.
sits back and waits
12 RepliesHow about we don't smoke anything, okay?
-
All drugs should be legal to anyone over the age of 18/21 because people have the right to put whatever they want into their bodies and screw themselves and others' lives up.
-
Legalize it as long as the government starts putting rat poison in it. Cause who doesn't wana one rat poison?
-
My name
-
2 RepliesIs it economically possible for them to eventually replace cigs?
-
2 RepliesLegalise it and you take money away from drug dealers... You know the people that want to hook you on hard drugs. Also it can be monitored so you don't have rat poison in your weed. And it can be taxed so not only do criminals loose money the government gets some. And less people being pressured by their dealers to use hard drugs takes stress off of heath services. Oh and for people who say it's harmful. How many people on weed doing something really antisocial compared to drunk people? And negotiate side effects are only present after excessive use for years. And it takes around half a tone of weed to overdose... Soooo yeah.
I dont even smoke or want to smoke weed I just dont see why it's not legal
