So, what's new about Crimson Days?
Two shaders. New mechanic for 1 game mode. Tower turns red and white, which I'm fine with except the shaders are hot pink and cream vanilla.
The bounties offer no new armour or weapons, just the chance to get ones you already know about or have.
And it's a requirement to have a two man fire team to enter Crimson Doubles.
So, I ask the following question to Bungie (and the many players that peruse the forums): WHAT IS THE POINT? (Aside from celebrating Valentine's Day, which can be done the real world)

I had no intention of playing the event. When I read that the weekly crucible bounties would not be available unless you played the event. During iron banner their was separate weekly bounties for the event and also the normal weekly crucible bounties were available to those who chose not to play IB. I don't like the fact that I am forced to find someone else as well as play the event in order to be able to complete the weekly bounties. We are being forced to play the event if we choose to complete the bounties. We don't have an option this week. I know it's not the end of the world and I do not depend on nightfalls or weekly crucible rewards, they are pretty much useless to anyone 310 or higher and most of the time useless for anyone above 280 other than a exotic if don't have all of them or strange coins. I just don't like having less options as a player.

2 RepliesThe original selling point was a 320 ghost reward. It's looking like that isn't happening for people. I was right to call for people to not play it at all if that's the case.

1 ReplyI got no idea. My experience of it was turn on Xbox, download update, launch destiny, go to tower, ooh nice job, sign out, turn Xbox off.
