Screw it. I deleted the whole post because of the little kids that can't think of any good counters and instead spout meaningless emotes and pasted images. So I'll restate, since I was really pissed when I wrote this forum anyway, and people insist on being narrow-minded and taking the words I said and stretching them to be something I never mentioned. So here goes.
All in all, the Striker class is perfectly fine. Shoulder Charge, the grenades, the abilities, and most of the Super and its killing capabilities are completely fair and able to be countered. However, the VERTICAL HEIGHT of Fist of Havoc is something that bothers me and something I think should be tweaked.
For those of you who are saying I'm trying to make an excuse for Blinkers to become invincible against Fist, stop trying to butter yourself up. You didn't bother to read the rest of the Post, clearly, because I never wanted people to survive a Super when they're hardly above it. What I SAID was that I didn't think it was fair to be the equivalent of mid-range above them (a.k.a the upper map boundary, and they're at the bottom. Think of the inside of Black Shield. You're at the bottom, in the lowest crevice. They're at the top of the ceiling [redundant, I know], and you turn on your Super. They're not a few feet above you, they're not in front of you. They're AT THE TOP OF THE CEILING. THE MAP BOUNDARY. THE HEAVENS OF DESTINY. And you kill them.) I know the animation has a lightning strike. I ALSO know that the Fireborn animation doesn't kill you. It should, since it makes you on fire, right? RIGHT? Something like that can't always be taken so literally. And I'm not saying it should be avoidable EVERY TIME. What I'm saying is that a person in mid-Super a respectable distance away should have a chance to avoid something like that. Frankly, I'm all for the idea of buffing the blast radius if the VERTICAL height of Fist o' Havoc was fixed a little.
A few other things as well, since they were brought up. I really do think there's nothing wrong with Hammers. Would I agree that they require the most aim of all the Supers? Probably, yeah. At least Nightstalker has a decent animation speed, to make it a little more predictable. But the majority of Sunbreaker game time that I have (I don't main a Titan, but I do like it), I do really well, ESPECIALLY with Hammers- as in, 24-3 in Skirmish, with 3v1s the entire game. Does that just mean I'm good, or are people under-estimating the Super? I guess it's probably the latter, since 99% of Titans nowadays run MIDA, Conspiracy Theory and H.Q Terminus. Oh, and "No" is not an intelligent response to an opinionated forum post.
Just thought I would revise this original post. If anyone was somehow truly insulted by this post, I'm sorry. I'm just a little tired of this game and, frankly, even more tired of the community. We used to be one big pack, one family. All it feels like now is one big forum war.

Only fix it think there needs to be is to reduce the vertical range of FoH and make its range something like 2x the size of a titan bubble

The only thing about it that should get looked at is the vertical blast radius cuz I don't think it makes sense that I'm like 12 ft above the fist of havoc and it catches me.

Paragraph 1 response: The Striker super has always been like that. However, Nova Bomb is also a panic super, but no one gets angry at that one. And that one has RANGE. Fist of Havoc hasn't been nerfed, and it won't this late in the game. It's meant to be an "I win" button. Very effective at shutting down supers as well. Paragraph 2 response: Blink shouldn't be able to escape. Why should one specific jump, the most hated in the game no less, be able to get away? Do you want the calls for nerf to sound again? Do you want Bungie to actually nerf it to the ground? Blink and Shadestep shouldn't have invincibility frames anyway. Paragraph 3 response: You were clearly here in year one, as such you know that Hunters have always been called the noob class. That means 'easy to use'. You also claim shotguns are easy to use. You also claim hammers have no issues whatsoever. This entire third paragraph screams that you don't know what you're talking about, and invalidates the rest of them.

1 ReplyI think that Fist of Havoc is meant to be a near-infallible panic button. You fire it off, and everything around you is dead. I see no reason to nerf it, especially when you compare it to Supers like Golden Gun (kill up to 4 Guardians from halfway across the planet), Hammer of Sol (weaker than it was, but very capable of putting the hurt on someone), and especially Stormtrance (almost enough to make my try playing a warschlock again).

It's a one time use super that leaves you very vulnerable directly after use. It's one of the weaker supers in terms of kill potential. It's best use is usually to shut down another roaming super, usually only netting you one, maybe two kills. Imo the blast radius should be increased by a little bit.

Here's the deal...unless you're playing against blueberries, taking a second to have to carefully aim means a swift death. No other super requires the amount of aim that hammers need now and that's for good reason. You don't have time to carefully aim super attacks or you'll either die or run out of time. Golden gun has no travel time and near unlimited range. Throw in an oversized hitbox and it's the easiest thing to aim in the world. Nightstalker bow tracks and travels straighter than hammers, also tethers if you miss. Bladedancer just closes the gap and spams the trigger. Stormcaller..hold down the trigger. FoH just get close. Nova Bomb just hit anywhere on the same side of the map. Sunsinger just spam firebolts. Defender...impossible to aim bubble. Again, no other supers require the level of aiming that hammers currently require. There is a reason that they had a large blast radius and tracking to begin with. Nothing about the killing potential of the super needed to be touched at all. The only nerf that was needed was to the armor. Btw FoH doesn't need any kind of nerf.
