Firebolt with ToF and Viking Funeral
I'm tired of seeing nerf posts. I personally think that they're fine. I just want to know who stands where on this argument.
Edit: Okay, I was too paranoid. Most of the community agrees that they aren't OP. I guess the few just create more threads.

It's not like those perks you're sacrificing are game changing, versus having a auto tracking burning grenade that stalls health regen for a good amount of time, and requires you to run away and pray to not get shot in the toe or else die a cheap death. Not to mention the ticking of numbers give out your position making it worse than keen scout since you're seen and hurting. Your super is hardly up for most of a match so radiant will isn't a loss. Losing gift of the sun isn't damaging either since you can just run max discpline, have a grenadier weapon such as tlaloc and use void vestments..... Dying to a post mortem by fire is nearly as annoying as dying to year 1 thorn after killing the wielder. Only difference is thorn was a primary. Still find the nade combo cheap and annoying. This is one of those examples of the majority isn't always right.

The fire shouldn't burn as long as it does, other then that the sunsinger is the grenade specialist. Do the fact that they have the strongest teenage combo is completely validated

I think they are fine, but reduce the radius slightly so you have to be a little more accurate

They're fine, just getting one every time you spawn with the vestments is annoying. But hey, it is an exotic, and they are only taking advantage of one perk.

It should still be able to kill with initial damage impact though just not with the burn damage over time. ( basically u make them go to one shot faster and prevent from regen health but they cant die if they out gun you or run away. what does everyone think about this idea ?

3 RepliesFire bolts are OP right now. Bungie needs to add a negative to the burn effect. If you select Viking Funeral it should lower the base damage of the grenade but maintain the length of the burn. That way one fire bolt grenade doesn't take 75-80% of a guardians health in one swoop.

I don't play PvP much and truth be told I'm not very good at PvP but I can understand why some people are upset with the firebolt grenades. However as someone who frequently uses this grenade for PvE I would hate to see it nerfed because of some issues in PvP. (And just before someone says something I don't use sunsinger class for PvP when I do play)
