When's the last time you actually killed someone with a lightning grenade?
I find that these things are completely useless. They spark away and enemies standing right next to them take no damage.
Edit: OK. OK. I get it. Y'all love these grenades. That's fine, no need to hurl insults at me. Thanks to those who gave advice on how to use them more effectively. I just find that most opponents are aware of them and unless cornered easily avoid them.

1 ReplyYesterday. I've been playing a lot of Mass Effect 2 on my PS3 recently, so was used to a different button configuration. In my first game I threw my first lightning grenade straight into the back of a teammate (meaning to ADS instead). It dropped at my feet and killed me.

You know what's useless? Flash bang nades... Seriously you can flash someone with them and within about .5 seconds they can see clearly enough again to gun you down or even snipe you. I suggest these nades fully remove your vision for at least two whole seconds.

I like to use them to get players to move where I want them to move.

It's been a while, because I've been playing hammers and bubbles more in PvP But they are really good nades if you know how to use them

I like to tag people/kill them when they're half health.

How are you using them? Place it on the wall if you didn't do this already.

I find that if I place them in an effective place I get usually 0-1 kills but if I randomly stick I'll just get 2-3 kills like ok I'll take it

Best grenade by far, with armamentarium I get loads of kills, aim for walls!

Lightning grenades are the only reason striker is a viable subclass.

Last night on control. Timing and aiming makes the difference. Unless you're one of those people who don't understand the concept of strategy and tactics and whines about getting a blow job from a hot chick. Oh wait...
