This sucks!!!! Rift is not made for Iron Banner...
5 losses...in a row just started. Nearly impossible to coordinate because its strategy based. I'm going to have to pass on this one Bungie...but please gather your data.

I was playing with a buddy last night and we actually got matched with a 4 man team and got a mercy. My buddy sends them a request to make it a 6 man to make it easier. They ignore it. Matchmaking broke up teams to find a "better" match. We play them the very next game and stomp the crap out of them. Was hilarious indeed.

13 Repliesrift is just not made for solo players. but yes i agree as iron banner should be for everyone it should support game modes that are also playable by solo players aswell as teams. osiris is for the tryhard teams already not make IB the same. its hard to find enough people for a good team. we were 3 and were constantly matched against 6 man teams... 8 times in a row against the same team even after orbiting.. then my guys left and i tried alone... horrible experience. i normally could easily get all 3 toons on lvl 5 in 2 or 3 days.. now it will be one toon to lvl 4 and the rest wont be touched. i have to admit i understand players that want team based modes.. but IB should still be for everyone and not only teams . thus a whole lot of players are cut out of the loot table that way

Played 4 hours and won like two games.ppl leave and noone plays objective.it takes to long to spawn after a kill.i hate rift.the team that ignites the first few times will win the game

Agree. Either stick with control/clash or make it so teams only match teams and people searching as individuals/pairs only match other individuals/pairs.

Iron Banner itself is just a XP/Loot system. Any game mode can fit inside there. However the way control is played during IB shows that objectives and strategy aren't a big thing among many Destiny players. I enjoyed Clash because short games, more games, more loot.

Don't know if it's the match making or just playing solo can't get a good team. Will give a try today after update. If not no iron banner gear for me. Not waisting time losing more than 10 matches in a row.

Agree... unless the fix matchmaking to put teams of 6 against teams of 6, then maybe... but right now that's shit.

I must say that I am very disappointed and the quality of what Iorn Banner has become. Not even having fun. I usually get to rank 5 on all three of my characters, but I'll be lucky if I even get through on one character. I already have the weapon rewards already so what's the point. Anyways I hope the gameplay changes back to control or clash. I think this was definitely a major boo boo

Pro Tips for surviving IB Rift: 1. Find friends (5 preferred) 2. Play IB Rift 3. Enjoy! If step one isn't possible due to you not having any friends or because 'they all left' see step 4 & 5 4. Invite random s who do well in your matches 5. See steps 2 & 3

Whether playing by myself or with a full fireteam I'm having a blast and getting plenty of drops. I hated the idea of rift but it's such a bloodbath and so exciting when you grab the spark that I have to say it's my favorite yet. Gotten 4 pairs of boots and 2 scouts with meh rolls, and I'm playing alone 2/3 of the time. Love seeing the changing strategies different teams use.
