This sucks!!!! Rift is not made for Iron Banner...
5 losses...in a row just started. Nearly impossible to coordinate because its strategy based. I'm going to have to pass on this one Bungie...but please gather your data.

6 RepliesI honestly hate Rift in general. Could've been a great game mode but its just horrible. I've only won 1 game so far and I thought last IB was bad. I just want Clash tbh because so many people just don't follow the objective. Wish Bungie turned Rift into rounds. 5 rounds in total and most captures in each round wins that round with a shorter time limit.

Luck of the draw with blueberries as well as a little about your tactics. The last 2 days I have played on my Warlock and my Hunter and have gone around 15-3. I was very worried about coordinated teams owning this game mode, but so far so good.

I not a fan of rift at all so my opinion is biased. That being said, I gave it a fair chance since it was IB. I have hilarious denial medals for stopping the runner just for them to still score haha. I think IB modes should be less objective based and inferno. Inferno IB modes reflect the theme of higher competition IMO. Im skipping this week but I think good data will be taken from this IB. Get it "taken" haha.....ill see myself out

Iron Banner isn't built for any one game type. The only difference between iron banner and crucible is levels are enabled and even that means very little as my friend who hasn't played since September played with me today and had no trouble holding his own as a 258. Rift might not be for you but it works great for iron banner. I would say it's my favourite game type so far and I'm playing mostly as a solo player.

Actually you never know what was going through bungo's mind when they were making rift. They might have always intended it to be iron banner. :)

Saying a specific game mode isn't made for iron banner is ridiculous. The only difference in iron banner from other crucible modes is that gear matters. That's it... Any game mode would work in iron banner because it would be the same game mode just with level differences...

Not in a fireteam.... Edit: Third game was the exact opposite, big lead early, opposite team all leave. Stupid, just stupid.....

Better when it was control a least for me i had a good idea as what to do. This game play I couldn't care to learn sorry if I mess up ya game but -blam!- it, rift is shite.

Sure it can be fun at times but with how bad latency is half the time you can't even hit enemy runners because of it. But I I tend on suffering through it until I get my gold tier bounties done and just hold onto them until friday for that scout rifle to try it out in trials.

I was playing with a buddy last night and we actually got matched with a 4 man team and got a mercy. My buddy sends them a request to make it a 6 man to make it easier. They ignore it. Matchmaking broke up teams to find a "better" match. We play them the very next game and stomp the crap out of them. Was hilarious indeed.
