Why do you like/dislike smoking/smokers?
So for the past few days I've seen a few threads that cover smoking in one way or another. I want your opinion on the subject.

Cigs are pretty nasty but I have no problem with e cigs and weed.

Well, I despise smoking for its health issues and the issues carrying on into offspring and others near smoking, but I know that there is no stopping it. I've stopped trying to encourage people to quit, it won't happen

It's nasty. The smell is toxic. There's really no reason to smoke unless you want to die faster

The reason I dislike drinking? My father was an abusive alcoholic. The reason I dislike smoking? Watching my grandmother die of lung cancer.

Additionally the smoke can irritate people's lungs, especially with asthma, etc. People who vape: QUIT DOING IT IN THE DAMN MOVIE THEATER YOU DOUCHE IT GETS IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN (btw, never encountered a vapebro, most vapers are incognito) Stoners: I used to be one, but like anything do it responsibly and don't be a "wow you don't smoke weed what a nerd" guy.

1 ReplyI smoke cigars and pipes but im not rude enough to do it where non smokers have to be (ill go outside at my house or to a cigar lounge), i could completely understand someone getting thouroughly pissed if i was smoking near them and they didnt want to breathe or smell it. Its not healthy, is abrasive to breathe, and it makes your clothes and hair smell like smoke. So i think that is why people get upset; fair enough in my opinion.

If they smoke on their own house then that's fine, but if you smoke in public it's just rude in my opinion. No one wants to smell that crap
