Why do you like/dislike smoking/smokers?
So for the past few days I've seen a few threads that cover smoking in one way or another. I want your opinion on the subject.

I hate smoking, not smokers. A disease of long-term suicide, best term for it.

I don't agree with any drug. The reason is because there are so many other forms of entertainment why do we have to turn harming ourselves and sometimes harming others into another form of entertainment. I also just hate the idea...

I hate the smell first of all and second I think anyone who knew full well the health issues it will cause which is most people now are dumb for doing it. What's the point? Do people think it will be cool? Peer pressure shouldn't be enough to make someone want to destroy their health. It makes other non smokers uncomfortable to and it gets in our systems which at least slightly hurts the average persons health. I'm not entirely sure about this but I assume it causes atmospheric pollution but like I said I'm not positive.

I don't dislike smokers unless they intentionally blow smoke into my face. I dislike smoking because asthma runs in the family.

I personally don't. There's a lot of great things in this world to keep me occupied. I don't go around telling other people what to do tho, and I try to be respectful to everyone. I do however hate the smell, and no smokers are allowed in my apartment.

1 ReplyI couldn't care less. You smoke? Fine. You dont? Fine too. I grew up around smokers so I don't care about the smell. And there is a nifty invention called febreeze. Hangout with a smoker, have that tiny bottle to freshen up. And everyone going on about cancer. Shut the -blam!- up. People get cancer all the time without smoking. You drive a car? The exhaust causes cancer. You drink out of Styrofoam cups? Cancer.

It depends on what your smoking ;) I was a smoker for a few year's, it a hard habit to break and costly. I've since quite with the help of vaping.

1 ReplyI got my dad to quit and he is happy I convinced him because now he has been saving thousands of dollars. Like a ton. $7 a pack everyday. That can be used for something better. Its just money consuming and nasty and messes with your body. Very money consuming.

Just know everyone around you that doesn't smoke thinks you smell like ass and says so while you're not around. But thats only important if that matters to you. If rolling around in dog shit was socially accepted, would you do it? I use to smoke the smell is why I quit. Unless we're talking a bowl, then here I have a light.

13 RepliesI imagine we're talking about cigarettes, look you can kill yourself in your own home or in your own car but once you start smoking in public and it's getting into other people's lungs then you are infringing on other people and you are a disgusting human.
