petition to remove rift from iron banner
if you are like me you tend to go into iron banner solo, now that it has been released that iron banner will be the game mode rift, i personally will not be doing ANY iron banner. this is very upsetting since it is one event that i tend to spend the most time in.
if you feel the same way and wish rift to not be part of iron banner please comment or like or whatever you wish to do. all comments are acceptable.

4 RepliesRIFT SUCKS. I HATE IT. Whenever I have to do rift for the weekly pvp, I dread it. I hate every second of that dumb mode. I don't want to play space-basketball with guns! Iron banner should be ONE MODE ONLY. CLASH. THE BEST IRON BANNER WAS WHEN THEY MADE IT CLASH And everyone who I play with agreed! Simple pure fighting. no dumb objectives. Control isn't that bad either, since KILLS/assists are the ONLY way to get points, even if objectives are a multiplier. Bungie goes and ruins iron banner AGAIN. Everyone I know looks forward to Iron banner ALL MONTH. But last time they ruined it by screwing the loot table. I was hoping they would undo that stupid mess. but no, NOW they make it WORSE?! I would say "at least the loot table sucks and only [maybe] want one thing" -- but that is a problem of it's own. no reason to sugar coat it. Definitely buying a new game very soon and saying bye to Destiny. Hopefully bungie realizes what they're doing wrong and returns Iron Banner to it's former glory. my last reason to keep playing has just faded away.

Bungie... worst idea in a long history of bad ideas . Make it control or clash. But dont force people to play your unpopular gamemode because you need to get the numbers up for rift.

I'd like iron banner to not be w match exclusive and be an overall crucible thing, so we could do whatever game mode we all want instead of rift or control

1 ReplyAh whatever they choose for IB is ok with me, I didn't think I would like Clash as IB but it was actually kind of cool... Control is my Favorite PvP mode tho, I just like having an objective to play for instead of simply run-n-gun (that might come from playing so much Battlefield tho). Really I just want there to be less lag, like nearly non existent lag!!!

Even with two friends, I've burnt myself out on rift this week just trying to do the damned bounty. If you have 3 people on the team not moving up or applying pressure to the spark, you can't win. I'm gonna sit this one out, guardian bros.

I don't know if anyone has noticed. But the worst part about rift is how long it takes to respawn. Matches will take forever

I don't see why all of a sudden ib must change game types. All the way from the beta and through year 1 it was control yet year 2 drops with more game modes and all of a sudden they decide to switch every month

I think changing up ib is nice. The one thing that i think will be a major problem is when ppl feel like they're losing, they go to orbit, leaving the teams unbalanced. This will happen quickly and a lot more with rift because the score can be lopsided very really in the game with igniting a rift or 2. Now here's the main problem. You start ib and end up joining a match in progress with the enemy having a score 3 times yours. And u only have 3 or 4 in your fireteam. Don't get me wrong, u still get rewards at the end,which is nice. It's just not a fun. I think if they can solve this problem, by temp banning or some other way if ppl leave a match early,then solo players won't have much to worry about. I mean regardless of how much rift requires teamwork, it is still possible for 6 randoms to defeat a team of 6. I mean Every random knows to get the rift, protect the one who has the rift or kill the guy with the rift if he's on the opposing team. And of u really want to converse, u can go to team chat.

I enjoy Rift, but hardly anyone plays it. I would say this about it being the next IB format. Most players have no idea how control is supposed to be played, and that's after over a year of playing it. lol! Wait until you see these guys playing Rift. "The spark? -blam!- that! I'll get killed if I try to have anything to do with that. I'm just gonna play TDM in the low contact zones and hope to get me that sweet IB scout rifle and helmet. -blam!- that trying to help the team win shit!"

2 RepliesI love all the people who say it's impossible to play alone. I play alone and yeah sometimes it sucks and sometimes it doesn't haha I rarely go into a game and see a fire team of more then two.
