Hunters causing nerfs
People calling 'huntards' out for getting everything nerfed is completely ridiculous, bungie looks at empirical data when they nerf things, they don't just ask the players and do whatever the player base says.
People aren't hunters, warlocks, or titans they are people, human beings that happen to play destiny, and maybe they play one class more than another which means absolutely nothing, and I see more threads complaining about other classes complaining than I see actual threads asking for nerfs.
What are your guys opinion?

I agree that the calls for NERFing are ridiculous and damaged too much the game but I do not agree Hunters as a class are the source for those calls. I play w/ a Hunter and it is sad to see how much NERFing Hunters received. For example: Hunter grenades nowadays are laughable. I want my skip and arc-bolt grenades back!

You telling me if people didn't complain about Suros Regime, Thorn, The Last Word, Pulse Rifles, Shot Guns, and Grenades and Horse shoes, and complain about not getting into a fire team for Raids because the didn't own a Gjallarhorn, they would have got nerfed anyway? Two answers are correct here. Both people and Bungie nerf things. Naturally people will gravitate to using what gives them the best chance of winning and when there are only one or two obvious choices it causes the Crucible to be saturated by those weapons/sub classes or perks. When the data is overwhelmingly in favor of one thing then Bungie inherently identifies that thing as the cause of a lack of variety or the only option to stay competitive. It's a viscous cycle really. Nerfing one thing here will inevitably make another thing more powerful. Honestly it's got to be frustrating for Bungie because the more they try to balance, the more we find other things to abuse. Bungie is not the only one to blame here. The players are just as responsible for exposing "overpowered" weapons and subclasses.

It's idiotic blaming a whole group for actions of individuals that don't represent the whole. May seem like an extreme comparison but at the end of the day they're both the same.
