I hate it when I land from a jump and for some reason slow down completely or even start flipping while others just casually pass me!!

I really liked the PS4 quest for the legendary sparrow. the last step brought back memories of gstruggling to get my ToM.... Except, this time, being able to destroy the mission :) About the racing itself, my favorite thing is that experience is what matters most (knowing the map and finding short cuts), so that it's possible to win even if you die and are in last place. The not so nice; when you're up against one or more red bars.... Lag is extremely noticeable, and frustrating.

1 ReplyThe fact that every player is in it until the end almost every race no matter how bad you do. Mars is essentially a toss up no matter how good you do. Plus, there should be a small rep bonus based on the final standings. Make winning matter!

The only thing I have a problem is with us when lagged come in. My frames per second will completely stop and then I'll loose my position when my frames pick back up. And it's usually first or second.

3 RepliesThe worst thing I've noticed is that if someone gets in the lead early and knows the map well it's almost a guaranteed win (unless there's some kind of major screw up). I think I weapon system needs to be implemented.

So It happens a lot on my nightsteed and sometimes on all my other sparrows (one including another new legendary one) So randomly during the race, normally after a sharp turn or a quick lateral move, the sparrow will just stop and I have to click the boost button a couple times before it goes again Its really annoying and normally makes me fall behind Could just be my controller (on ps4) but I don't think so because it's in good condition

6 RepliesThe worst thing is that the forums are flooded with parrots all repeating the same exact bullshit over and over again. Not this thread per se, but the usual everyday variety of "-blam!- u bungle, this is the last straw, I quit" "the loot table sucks, I'm entitled to a champion's fortune for each lap I lead" "here's what you should do to change this mode, cuz I'm like top wizard of all game devs nerds". I guess I'm used to it for regular activities, but when they introduce a mode that should just be a fun break, with ridiculously generous loot for all participants, and everyone flies off the handle... It's [i]sparrow racing[/i] in an FPS. You know, the shit you did for kicks with your friends on the way from Valus' lieutenants down the hill to fight him... An optional, free content addition with loot so generous, I think calling it a stand in for "Santa Claus" isn't ridiculous.

I think there should be a button dedicated to attacking other racers. Maybe its with an exotic race armor, maybe its an icon on the map you have to be first to ride over, but something to slow down or annoy other racers. Like dropping a heavy vex body behind you that if you hit it will slow you down tremendously, or maybe a perk that's like a 5 second auto drive that quickly keeps you on course and drives you through all gates in that 5 or so second period, or something like with the riders elemental class that can be dropped as a grenade to deter others. That definately needs to be added in. Fighting to win not just going fast and correcting crashes better than others. Throw a few hammers as a titan, tether as a hunter, firebolt grenades as a warlock or something like that. It just feels kinda plain, but it is fun to an extent.
