Dragon's breath. The flare did just as much damage as pre-nerf gjallarhorn. But the problem was, it didn't have tracking, and it was near impossible to keep an enemy from moving out of the flare. But now with the taikonaut, the tracking problem is resolved, and it is usable in the raid because warpriest, golgoroth, and sisters dont move that much! Who is excited?!!! I am!
Edit- i can edit! Finally! Over 400 replies and trending! Thanks everyone!!! :)

Tikonought + dragon's breath = whole world is boned.

2 RepliesYou guys are really going to let them hype you up with guns that they purposely took out the game after a year huh?
-
14 RepliesWarpriest, maybe, i don't know what kind of damage he'll take from prolonged AoE damage. I guarantee you it will be a waste of heavy ammo for golgoroth since you're not hitting crits. Daughters will be suicide, you'll just blow yourself up because its so tightly packed and also leave a nice little aim distortion for eveerybody else on your fireteam. Kings Fall ain't made for rockets.

Edited by Dyalar: 11/23/2015 4:52:47 PMSo not only will you shoot your teammate in the back of the head with a rocket, thus killing yourself, but then you're going to leave an obnoxious puddle of fire on top of your corpse that everyone else has to try to shoot through. You're a special kind of special. KF fights are easy. Sniper on Warpriest/Golgoroth, ToM on Daughters/Oryx. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.

Use taikonaut

I would like to take this time to mention that bungie has stated that some of the exotics will have new or updated perks. So just because it was kinda bad (I liked it) doesn't mean it'll be the same in December, they might have added perks.
-
5 RepliesMost people are forgetting the key point to have a Shadowshot on the boss too for this to really shine. It will cause the initial rocket as well as every damage tick on the flare to be critical hits. Insane DPS.
-
1 ReplyGjallarhorn= •tracking •proximity •good blast radius •good velocity •tracking Wolfpack rounds Dragons breath= •tracking(only with taikonaut) (so Titans only) •no proximity •Stationary flare •great blast radius •awful velocity In conclusion= Gjallrhorn > my bodily waste > dragons breath
-
3 RepliesIn almost any situation right meow even with the taiko, dragons breath is underwhelming and out classed by another exotic weapon. Please stop trying to hype this thing, you will be let down. There was almost never a bad time for gally, there is almost never a good time for dragons breath. Not to mention it will still be poor for 2/3s of the classes...

2 RepliesAnd the arrow of the hunter......
-
Lol counting replies Autism

Hello it's your elitist here! I will now require Dragon's Breath at Warpriest, Spindle at Golgoroth, and ToM for sisters and Oryx! Have a nice day everyone!!!
jk
It's so stupid that they announced these exotics getting year 2 levels as if it's a huge surprise. Like I'm supposed to be excited to get to get to use shit I already had that they made unusable Also stop making edits saying how many replies there are. We can all see how many replies there are.
-
No one cares how many replies you get; get over it.
-
2 RepliesIt will suck for all the raid bosses, you want precision shots for more dps
-
1 ReplyLol. Dragons breath is so bad.
-
2 Replieswere you one of those who thought sleeper would turn out to be ghorn 2.0? cuz unless they buff that solar flare it wont be anywhere near ghorn level not even sleepers.
-
2 RepliesWill still be outclassed by ToM
-
4 RepliesToM will continue to remain the best possible DPS where you have an invincibility aura or Blessing bubble. African American Spindle will continue to remain best possible DPS on Warpriest and Golgoroth where a blessing bubble isn't avaliable.
-
DB + Shadowshot + blood bound = win
-
1 Replywill the flare be affected by tracking?
-
That's what I want to get.
-
DB with the space helmet = op
-
most people are saying that it won't be as powerful as a sniper, but what could be done is fire a couple of rockets, then switch to sniper.... this all depends on it working the way everyone is expecting though
-
I agree! Bump!
-
2 RepliesThe flare should stick to their targets when you hit them
