Crucible polluted by Red death
Seriously?
Of all the weapons that are available in this game, people have nothing better to do but pick that red death for the crucible?
I don't mind getting killed by snipers, shotguns, fusions, rockets, hc, you name it ... But red death, really?
It's becoming barely fun to play any mode in the crucible at this point.
And I'm not calling for a nerf or anything but for -blam!-s sake, vary your -blam!-ing primary weapon.
Edit: Crazy but I'd like to see how people would be rocking touch of malice in pvp, that'd show some skills rather than those cheap kills from red death.
Edit 2: Don't tell me red death isn't OP. If it wasn't, people wouldn't overly use it in pvp. And no I'm not salty about dying, just tired that it comes from the same noob OP weapon over and over.
Edit 3: Cut the comments like "stop whining" first I'm not crying over getting killed, I'm stating something I noticed. Second, this is a -blam!-ing forum so give people a break, it's meant for that.
Edit 4: Again, I'm not calling for a nerf or anything. Just, just vary the pick of your primaries in PvP for -blam!-s sakes.
Edit 5: Why are people so salty and offensive? I just -blam!-ing asked for variety. Not nerf. This from players to players, chill. And if you strongly dislike my post, gtfo instead of feeding it with your comments.
Edit 6: "Butthurt" "pussy" "OP is..." "Salty" etc... How old are you guys? Can't even make a constructive comment... If you disagree, say it with real words and solid arguements.
Edit 7: From the comments, long story short: 50% are saying "stop whining" because they're too afraid that this post reaches bungie and ends up nerfing it (while their comments bumped my post, the irony). 50% are actually admitting that pulses and rd in particular are being too popular lately in PvP for the reasons we ALL know. Come on guardians...

Shut up. red death is far away from being OP. it is an amazing weapons, but there is other good ones that can compete. there has never been more variety than right now.

I wouldn't say it's just red death, it's pulses in general. To be fair, they are supposed to be effective at a range somewhere in between close-medium range, to medium-long range. I find most of my encounters to be in this distance, unless I'm playing clash or rift. I myself use red death for the healing perk, but I know of better DPS pulses out there. To each their own.

Listen, red death has always been like this. People JUST NOW started using it because thr mey seen the words nerf and hancannons on a patch notes (same for auto rifles) and intantly thought they were all trash now. Thats how this community works.

Aside from aggressive ballistics on it... But really. Its received a net nerf by it switching to its current archetype. It can barely two shot targets. Its better than the standard weapon but with its recoil pattern, its a 3 burst weapon now. Only great thing is you being unflinching, adding stagger and the heal. I still prefer my Nerwins Mercy.

It was always known that red death would be a strong contender post 2.0. It was thorn before and suros before that. I find with the Red death you need to be accurate as the RoF sucks ass! In medium to close encounters I would choose my Hawksaw any day

You can judge if a weapon is OP, by if the community used it in crucible, as we have legitimately the worst community out of any game besides Counter-Strike. Our community focuses on one gun the entire time until it is nerfed, then come to the forums as complain about diversity among armor and guns. Thorn was OP, everyone used it, now look at red death and conspiracy Theory. Not saying it needs a nerf, just letting a little steam off.

I don't play much crucible but I use red death in pve so I tend to use it for pvp because I'm used to it. I actually don't see much red death in crucible...
