For me, Atheon is the hardest if all the raids were the same light level.

Its not that oryx is hard, its the people cant seem to grasp simple instructions. "Jump on when we tell you to" *jumps on too early* "Kill your ogre immediately" *dies by ogre because they ignored it* "Shoot oryxs chest" *doesnt shoot his chest, oryx kills us all* Although atheon was quite annoying. People who dont know how to shoot oracles or use a relic was so frustrating

6 RepliesPeople think Atheon is hard? This VoG Hard-On needs to stop. It was a cool raid, but you people are giving it way too much credit. People have a feel-good sensation about it because it was the [b][u]first[/u][/b] raid, NOT the [b][u]best[/u][/b] raid. Hard mode KF hasn't even been released yet! This is a biased poll from the beginning. If you want to be more accurate, compare the FIRST version of Atheon, Normal Mode to our current version of KF.

In terms of relevance at the time. Our team spent the longest on Atheon hard mode back in Vanilla Destiny. Mudded with glitches such as, the people who get teleported also get detained.. People not be able to leave the portals. Magic the Invincible Minotaur of Venus, Atheon killing you through the shield and soooo much more. After 3-4 hrs we said screw it. Then a little site called Reddit announced that you can just push his ass off with solar grenades. 2 mins later, Atheon hard became easy peasy. By the time they patched that, we all had gotten ice breakers and Gjallarhorn so he was piss easy anyway.

Atheon, at the time when max was lvl30 (and most people were running at 29) was the hardest. You could spend hours on it, even after you'd beat him multiple times.

3 RepliesI think most people vote for atheon based upon nostalgia. Everyone should take a step back and evaluate the complexity of each boss's mechanics. Atheon can be considered harder based on the odd glitch here and there.

I think everyone voting Atheon is suffering from nostalgia. Atheon wasn't hard at all. Damage was all you needed to beat his encounter.
