Best scout rifle so far ?
I am about to make a purchase to get the dead orbit scout rifle I love it's perks and it seems like a well balanced gun. Scout rifles have always been my favorite and I would like to know if there are other legendary scout rifles I should be looking forward to.

5 RepliesTlaloc is hands down the best Scout in the game. ToM is good, but overrated. Boolean Gemini is a very solid Scout Rifle and there are the Omolon Scouts that are also great with the right perks. Raid Scout is a decent choice and top notch vs. Taken enemies.

look at the rating in the armory for scouts you previously liked - compare to current models I like the top impact scouts like Gheleon's Demise so my current favorite that I actually have is Last Extremity (crucible name but dropped with different roll) what is best for you is probably something in the same archetype that was previously your favorite - perks will make/break the gun

Dead orbit scout is the best for pve by far and it's okay for pvp.

Hung Jury SR4. I've been using it in almost piece of pve content and i can say it is definitely the best scout rifle in almost every situation. It's amazing in the King's Fall raid and it is a monster! You should buy it without a doubt, many say it is an overhyped weapon, which is what I thought when I hesitated to buy it. Once you start to see it in action, and the perks really shine, you'll really enjoy it. But in the end it comes down to personal perference, it i definitely a top tier scout rifle but if you like another scout rifle more for your play style, then maybe purchase/obtain that one. Hope this helped! ;)

I bought it with high hopes. Was disappointed. Suros DIS-47 I got from gunsmith is way better. Go take a look at Crucible Scout rifle. Impact is amazing.

I have a hung jury with triple tap with third eye/underdog I though triple tap would be useless but I'm finding its potential in PVE. Third eye and underdog goes well or PVP.

1 ReplyCrucible has sick impact. Otherwise, the Omolon from the Gunsmith is as good or better with the right roll than DO scout. Don't waste the marks. Just order it from the Gunsmith. I'm rank 4 and I can select from multiple versions when thr order arrives.

I doubt I'll ever drop it for another legendary scout. [spoiler]If I don't have TUS equipped, just know it's pretty -blam!-ing great. :)[/spoiler] [spoiler]This is just my opinion. I know somebody out there isn't going to like that roll.[/spoiler]
