[b]EDIT: A lot of hate comments calling me scrub/entitled. I am not complaining about the difficulty of the secret mission. I just wanted it to be more than one day because people who have jobs may not get enough time to do this on one particular day. Even Xur appears for three days to sell exotics. I LOVED THE DIFFICULTY. I WANTED MORE TIME[/b] [b]EDIT: by more time I mean don't make it a daily heroic only for 24 hours. Here's what I think should have been done: Go to secret area > get transmission > mission doesn't start right there and then. Instead you get a secret quest unlocked on the moon > do the mission now with the same difficulty and time restraints, hell, make it harder than it was, I'm up for the challenge, a lot of players found it easy Why does it have to be restricted to 24 hours! That's all I am saying![/b] I've heard time and again that Destiny has a very elitist and negative community. I've said time and again that it's actually the design of the game that is responsible for the negativity and hate in the community. Bungie proved me right. The black spindle quest is exactly the kind of content in the game that creates this kind of negative atmosphere. Yes, I couldn't do it. Yes, I am jealous. However, I hate the fact that you can only do this on one selected day on a daily heroic! Why keep content like this off limits to other players who couldn't have the time to do a quest on one particular day. Why not make it a special quest like the Thorn quest stage where you had to go kill the wizard in the Ogre pit. When you make content like this, it creates a walled barrier between players who got the time to do this quest on that particular day and dedicated players who couldn't get the time to do it then. You said you nerfed Gjallarhorn because you didn't expect that people would start making weapons a priority for selecting groups. Now you've done the same -blam!-ing bullshit with the black spindle. Expect to see the black spindle as a requirement for LFG and LFM on raid groups because of the dps race mechanics in the King's fall raid. Just like the gjallarhorn, you made it so that this weapon can only be obtained on one particular day and now the rest of the players have to wait till they can get the weapon again on some day in the future. You're making the same mistakes again and again. This doesn't seem like a mistake but a deliberate attempt to make this community negative and filled with weapon collection rage. Stop it already!
