You use Thorn and you think you're skilled. Why?

I've used thorn since January. I have 12,000 kills with it. Not much of a pvp player, but I sure do like that gun.

Y know what does not take skill. Grenades and horseshoes launcher paired with a last word.

cuz we still have to aim and it helps your team a hell of a lot do you thank less of a fighter pilot using a more advanced jet? dont blame the users for lack of options on the top tier this is all oj bungie

Thorn is unbelievably easy to counter so if you can't counter the Thorn than you have problems, I use Thorn everytime I play crucible cause it's fun and I like to play Rumble + Thorn with my friends

1 ReplyIt still takes skill to shoot all the "good" players? If a bad player can kill a good player with Thorn, well just maybe the good player isn't as good as they thought they were. Just saying... It's a video game, have a nice day!

I use thorn in pve and PvP because of its power and i have no shame in showing up in crucible with it in my hands And to top it off I had a non upgraded atheon's epilogue as my only weapon

I've gotten to the point where I don't care about thorn anymore, I can beat it with red death most of the time. TLW has been really obnoxious lately though since Xur sold it. Since I don't use shotguns it's pretty hard to deal with in medium to close range

21 RepliesIt's gonna be a good day when this and tlw get nerfed. People use these weapons and teabag. Tlw kills quicker than my heavy machine gun. It also has a stupid range for a duelling gun. It's got a slight learning curve. Still op. Don't kid yourself that it takes massive amounts of skill to win a 1v1 or even a 1v2 with it. Apologies. The rage is real. Last word after last word in pvp and I'm so tired of it.

I KNOW I'm skilled, and I use Thorn, mostly for Trials, because it makes leveling the playing field easier. And I prefer to fight at range so it's a better option than The Last Word, for me. Plus I don't have a Messenger or Hopscotch Pilgrim yet. But honestly I couldn't care less what anyone thinks about me for using the weapons that I use, so I'll continue to use whatever I like and ignore the haters and whiners.
