Get them out asap.
Mine are two years over due and they kill me daily. Getting them out in a week and it makes me anxious as hell, never been under anaesthetic before but it will be worth it when I can live without this constant pain.
All I can say is go to your dentist and get them looked at guys, I hate the dentist but just do it, don't leave it until it's too late.
Edit: great to see that there are some kucky stories of people who get to keep theirs! I would like to have been saved the pain and expense :) to all you who are scheduled to have it done, good luck and a swift recovery :)

Edited by Mexerd: 7/28/2015 8:29:00 PMOnly bitches take anesthesia. I told my doctor to do it without them.
they just numbed me and I still felt pain. Taking oxy's was the best part
I didn't know mine came in till a dentist told me. Never had a problem with em.
-
I had all 4 taken out back in December, at once, using local anesthetic (as in I was awake for it)
-
Have all four of mine. Dentist said they do not need to be taken out ;)
-
Had one out today. Took about 1 minute, hardly bled, no discomfort. Good riddance.

12 RepliesI had to go through getting one of my teeth pulled while under anesthetics but it didnt knock me out even on max pump (happy gas) I heard that gingers are more resistant to anesthetics :/ And also that we are more sensitive to heat (i am) :/
-
Had to go under for mine. I have a gag reflex, they never would have been able to reach in there and pull those suckers out without me puking my guts all over the place.
-
I don't have wisdom teeth, so I'm thankful that I don't require a surgery to get them removed.
-
5 RepliesI'm supposed to get mine out in a couple of days. I have a really sore throat rn, so I'm not sure if that'll make it worse or whatever.

1 ReplyMy dad got his out when he was like 25 and the nerve in the lower jaw (forgot what it was called) got rapped around the root and when they pulled it out it damaged the nerve and he has numbness in his jaw for life... So yeah I'm getting them out this winter cause that's as soon as I can...

23 RepliesEdited by car15: 7/26/2015 3:21:58 PMWhy do so many people go under to get their -blam!-ing teeth pulled? All you need is a local. Quit being wimps about it.
-
I have all of mine. Parents were too poor to afford removal, but it turns out I had space for them. Now I have 4 more teeth than most people :)
-
1 ReplyWhen is it usually recommended to get them out? Mine are fully grown but I haven't experienced any pain, yet others suggest to just pull 'em out anyway.
-
Mine aren't even grown in all the way
-
I have extra room in mouth, my teeth are perfectly spaced apart/together. My wisdom teeth have actually grown in all the way and my dentist didn't see a need to pull them. So nah, if I don't have to go through the pain of getting them removed, I won't. But thanks tho ^.^
-
I get mine out in 2 weeks lol.
-
Don't need mine pulled, they are perfectly straight and not interfering at all. I'm a lucky one.
-
I never have to get mine out because I don't even have em,dentists be jelly
-
I have to get mine out as soon as they come out, I wish I would've gotten then like my brother, he didn't even have to take them out, his are perfectly straight
-
My wife and here family are all born without wisdom teeth Meanwhile the last one i have left (courtesy of the navy) hasn't poked through yet and they want to remove it...im like "go -blam!- yourself"
-
1 Reply>being born with a perfect mouth >not having to deal with wisdom teeth >deal with it.gif
