Purifier Robes
[b]Did you get the Purifier Robes and what character did you decrypt your engrams on?[/b]
I spent around 250 motes on my Warlock and didn't get them, I did however get significantly more Hunter and Titan chest pieces than I did for my actual Warlock.
After seeing mixed responses from others regarding success at obtaining Purifier Robes through this week's chest engrams, I'm wondering if there's any weighting associated to the class which engrams are decrypted on or whether it is completely random.
Please bump to raise awareness.

I guess I was plain lucky. I rolled two exotic engrams with my hunter, and the first one was Purifier Robes with 88 discipline & 83 strength. The second was a Lucky Raspberry with significantly higher intellect (142 v. 123) than the Lucky Raspberry I already had. I quit then while I was ahead...

Only needed two exotic chest pieces left in the game, one of which was the new robe. Bought two engrams, got both chest pieces.

I got it on my hunter. I got five engrams and got it on the forth one I decrypted.

I got it day one of DLC from the big chest. It's cool but not a must have imo. I still stick with Light Beyond Nemesis

I know it's all random. But I'll be damn if it doesn't seem like I get more Titan and Warlock gear when I use my Hunter and vice versa. But just seems that way. It's all random luck.

Had 2 both disciple and strength :-( 1 had 84 disciple and 97 strength 1 had 101 discipline ! And 87 strength! Anyone get more then 188 role altogether [spoiler]Check my warlock not 34 with the robes but stats are true. [/spoiler]

First try I bought three engrams (on Warlock), all of them decrypted into Alpha Lupi chests for a Titan. Screw you, Rahool. Second try I bought two more engrams, still Warlock, and got Purifier Robes on the first decrypt. Yes, the second engram was an Alpha Lupi chest, for a Titan. Screw you, Rahool.

6 RepliesYou are going to hate me but I got them on my first Engram (only bought 2) from Xur this morning. Anytime I am going for a specific engram, I always buy and decrypt on the respective class. Don't know if this matters, but I seem to have a lot more luck that way. The first week when he sold helmets, I got The Ram on the first try as well. That being said, I think my Robes are the Purist of them all. I got a god roll of 103 and 101, did anyone get a better one? I believe 103 is the max on these bad boys so I lucked out hard.
