I have no clue why people like this grenade. I'll throw it on a wall and watch someone just run right past it barely taking a scrape. Seems like a shitty grenade that would only kill someone who wanted to teabag it.

14 Replies*throw tripmine at wall* *tripmine lands on tiny texture bump and points parallel to the wall* Why, tripmine. Why you do this.
-
1 ReplySomeone on Reddit found out if you blow up your own tripmine while standing in it with red death it puts your health up
-
2 RepliesControl game starts, throws trip mine onto B, gets first blood. Every time.
-
1 ReplyI find myself throwing it at an enemy kill a few enemies in the other direction and run back and blow myself up
-
I feel your pain however I use it more for PvE honestly
-
1 ReplyBest use: If you have a Blade Dancer rushing you SLAM that grenade right down in front of you, works everytime
-
It sticks to enemies, has a decently large blast radius and best of all against the phalanx cabal it kills them through the shield. I call it my door knocker lol.
-
It sticks to enemies
-
i disagree, i always seem to get killed by it, even if i am barely in its explosion radius.
-
Hits the hardest.

Theres a ton of ways to get kills with it in pvp anyway.. Jump down a ledge throw it on the wall behind you when that shotgun is chasing and watch them die... Throw it at peoples feet that are crouching around the corner, if it doesnt detonate, shoot it yourself and kill them. Almost all control points are near walls, pop that thing as theyre capping and kill them. Stick them directly. Throw it and shoot it near them mid air. (Does work) Just to name a few ways.

3 RepliesDon't throw it on a wall...throw in on someone's face...you'll understand why then...
-
1 ReplyI always kill myself with that -blam!-ing grenade.
-
7 RepliesTripmine is the only greande that can stuck on enemies for a OHK, plus seal off an area. Best of both worlds actuallly. All other Huntergrenades are imo not even worth equipping.
-
4 Replieshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voUQDEQ7V4g Not my video, but this is a 6 for 1 tripmine. I still prefer Firebolts, personally.
-
When I play my hunter I just throw them randomly and get kills but I haven't played crucible in awhile
-
2 RepliesI don't use them because you can effectively block yourself from going through a doorway until it detonates. And if you stick any enemy with one that's close to you, you'll kill yourself.

Edited by FamblyGuy: 2/9/2015 11:27:46 AMBecause team kills are funny
-
Depending on distance you can snag kills with it or severely injure them. Or just use it as a sticky grenade. It's the best Gunslinger grenade for crucible once you the hang of it.
-
I love it. Just take their health down a bit, plant a mine on a doorway, step back, watch them die of their own stupidity.
-
4 RepliesLol this was last night
-
2 RepliesI think it's useful in Control. It's definitely powerful to take out a few enemies. Maybe you just suck with it though, no offense.
-
6 RepliesMust not have much experience with them then. They've got insane pve damage, firstly. Secondly, huge aoe, sticks, and one hit kills. Usually have to be placed tactically or they'll get shot though. They're pretty good in control also. Thirdly, the other hunter grenades are quite terrible...

13 RepliesEdited by arichiso: 2/8/2015 6:35:50 PMHave you tried using the Spine of Ahamkara... it's a beast in PvP
-
5 RepliesI don't understand why more people don't just shoot them. Pretty much the very first thing we're taught in the game is that you can shoot trip mines, and yet in Crucible, people are scared to go near them and wait it out until they explode or go down a different path.

1 ReplyYea it is a sweet grenade. Just have to get used to using it. Enemy hiding behind cover? Stick a wall close by and take him out
