EDIT:
After much hate and arguement, here's to what I've experienced in the CRUCIBLE using ALL 3 Characters. If you don't like this, DON'T COMMENT. I don't want to waste my time replying to EVERYONE that hates this post. If you don't agree, go outside and punch someone or something.
Does it not get boring being the over-powered classes in the game? I've been a Warlock since Day One of the Beta back in the summer of 2014. I've also tried my hand at using the Hunter and Titan classes as well....
Just know I've used ALL 3 CLASSES and maxed their stats with another profile.....
Warlocks:
Most balanced class in the Crucible. Yes.... We have grenades that track, melee from a distance, and even a quick revive from death.
Reasons we're under-powered compared to the other classes:
-When launching Nova Bomb, we're still vulnerable when firing off. We can die in mid air after launching the bomb, but can ONLY get a small amount of health back if we actually kill someone with it. We can even kill ourselves using the Nova Bomb, just like blowing yourself up with a rocket.
-Melee from a distance is great, but doesn't kill someone with one hit, compared to Titan's Storm Fist or Hunter's Throwing Knife.
-Self revive is a great opportunity to get revenge on the person that just killed you. Plus, you can throw grenades faster and and have a bonus shield when Radiance is active, or even support teammates with less cooldown on grenades and melee.
-Grenades: 2 of them track people, 2 of them explode and create a vortex of doom/miniature sun, 1 can stick to you and instant death, and 1 scatters to disorient/take out health from you for a brief second.
So it seems Warlocks are the most balanced of the 3. They're tanks in PvE because of Fireborn, making you solo thos nasty Nightfall Strikes!
Hunters:
You guys are my second choice. I have never had a major problem with these guys, but for the Crucible, there's a different story.
-Gunslinger gives you a throwing knife which can be thrown and kill someone from 30+ feet away, compared to Warlock's 5 feet.
-You also get not 1, BUT 2 offensive subclasses which are both boss, but can make you overpowered to a Warlock. The only time I can kill a Hunter when you use Gunslinger super or Bladedancer super is if I Nova Bomb you or revive myself to get revenge.
-You get a shield/health gain for each kill with the Bladedancer super, making it harder for you to kill, especially when your too hard to hit when moving so fast.
-Gunslinger super gives you 3 shots from a flaming pistol. But whenever I face someone like you, they usually fire off between 3-6 shots, and yes, I said 6. It's not because I'm TROLLING, but because I play this on both the XB1 and 360. I see it more often on the 360 due to hackers or there's just bad lag in a game. Can be an easy fix BUNGIE! If you don't believe me, go on Youtube. I bet you will find SOMETHING similar to this.
-Blink Strike is like the Warlock's melee distance. You see your target from about 5-10 feet away and melee the person from a distance, occasionally killing him/her.
-Grenades: THAT DAMN SENSOR GRENADE can kill yourself if you're not careful.....
So Hunters can take out Warlocks all day as long as you are quick and agile when facing guys that can say a few magic words and blow your face off.....
Titan:
Yes. You're the "TANKS" of the Crucible. But, I would say more like tanks made from Diamonds. You guys aren't the fastest or the best recovery, but you guys make the Hunter look like a small spider you find in your bedroom. Just slam the hell out of that thing until it's dead.
-Fist of Havoc (FoH) is ridiculous. This is why I originally loved the Titan. You see someone taking your flag, slam the hell out of that player until he/she goes running home to mommy. Problem is, you can't kill a Titan when he activates FoH. I've tried. Many times and failed.
-Storm Fist. If you can kill a Titan when he DOES FoH, watch out for a sprinting Titan. He will drop kick you so hard that it'll MAKE you go back to playing Halo.
-Defender. The bubble shield they create is impenetrable, at least for your weapon fire. The only way to destroy it is using supers, or being dumb enough to kill the Titan sitting inside doing a jig while laughing at you from a distance. I've attempted to kill a Titan while he sits in his shield.... By using a rocket. After killing myself and taking out a part of his health, you can still get revenge if you revive yourself as a Warlock when the shield disappears.
-Grenades are so deadly that some can kill you if stuck to you, ahem, Lightning Grenade or Stun Grenade.
So it seems Titans are truly tanks in the Crucible......
Overall:
I prefer Warlocks. They remind me of the times back when Reach was a thing (or still is). I love the glide, self revive, and Nova Bomb (that is, if I can ever hit someone with it...).
Hunters are fast, agile, and make us Warlocks stay on our toes. They can clean a room of enemies in the time it takes you to sneeze.
Finally, Titans are the ones which everyone picks because they lead each and every game in the Crucible with a literal Iron Fist.
So if you left a hate comment or reply, please go and remove your comment and throw it back into the Void for the darkness to consume. You'd be a true guardian if you did so, because guardians don't gang up on one guardian they don't agree with. (Why do you think there are so many enemies of the dark? Because hateful guardians.)
THANKS FOR READING!
Edit 1:
Kinda sad I'm still getting hate mail/comments. If you were smart enough, you'd get rid of the hate. This is why Bungie doesn't like many of you players, because it takes an entire community to bring down ONE player. Ya'll haven't affected me one bit. Kinda sad that you all waste your time throwing hate messages towards someone you DON'T EVEN KNOW. GROW UP!
Edit 2:
Been playing as the Hunter in the Crucible. My thoughts exactly. They ARE overpowered to Warlocks. EVEN after seeing Warlocks self-reviving, I'd still wreck them back to the grave. Bladedancer, complete. Gunslinger, in progress. Bladedancer can't compare to Gunslinger. Golden Gun can DESTROY enemies, even with 3 shots. I was wrong about the 5-6 shots. MAYBE it was a lag problem when I did play against players, (IT CAN HAPPEN, BUT ONLY WHEN BAD CONNECTIONS OCCUR). But a recent game I played on the Anomaly Map, I realized this is a fun class because of the Gunslinger. I had Thorn equipped, destroying guys and getting MULTIPLE kills at once. Then came out Golden Gun, never missed a shot. I went on a 10 kill streak within the first 3 minutes of the game. BUT, I want a challenge. THIS IS WHY I'M A WARLOCK! I may not be the wisest, (AS YOU ALL SAY WARLOCKS ARE), I may not be the best, I may not be the strongest or the fastest, BUT AVERAGE. Don't believe me? Go check my stats as a Hunter. EVEN after a few games, this is the reason why I don't play as a Hunter. The majority of players play as TITANS and HUNTERS. Played a match today, WE HAD 3 Titans, 2 Hunters, and 1 Warlock. THIS IS HOW IT WENT FOR A FEW GAMES. If you were to NERF one thing off the Hunter, I'd say give the Golden Gun LESS accuracy & Arc Blade loses "Hungering Blade." We don't have that as a Warlock. If you were to NERF the Warlock, Nova Bomb has smaller explosion but fires faster OR throws slower and bigger explosion & Radiance loses extra shield when you self revive yourself. (I'll get to the TITAN class when I've finished upgrading Gunslinger.)

1 ReplyEdited by EmptyFiber: 1/13/2015 10:11:19 AMThis post is one of he biggest pieces of trash on these forums. You lost any credibility you could gain several times throughout the post. Let's look at where, shall we? "If you don't like this post, don't comment." So basically you want everyone to agree with you or you just want to hear yourself speak? "Titan storm grip and Hunter throwing knives can one hit kill but the warlock melee can't." The only standard melee that can one hit kill is blink strike and that's if you're perked and you hit from behind. Shoulder charge can, but it's not a standard melee. "The only way I can kill a Gunslinger..." Wut? This is the ONLY subclass that doesn't gain extra armor when performing it's super. If anything, they are the easiest. Sure, if they see you you'll need to pray they have Stormtrooper aim, but still. "Can't kill a titan using FoH." I can't count how many times I've killed a titan (and have been killed while using) mid hulk smash. "Tried to kill a bubble Titan inside with a rocket launcher." What. The. Hell? You don't bring a rolling pin to unclog a toilet, do you? Right tools for the job man. "Titan sticky grenades." One grenade that the Titan has sticks and it's neither you listed. My conclusions? You're terrible at this game. Sure you have all three classes, but you talk like you don't touch the other two (Titan and Hunter). Leveling them up in PvE and going against them in pvp doesn't mean you know anything about them.

2 RepliesEdited by Star Gazer2: 1/13/2015 9:56:46 AMI've been reading the some of the most recent comments and wow, you have sunk so low. You first go off demanding Bungie to nerf the other classes because you think they are overpowered. Then you go about and start calling people fags and insult them
If you want to destroy me, maybe come show up to my front door in real life fag.

Veteran or not, go -blam!-ing blow yourself into the next century.

Anyone that plays a video game for a living had his balls sliced off at birth.
And then you go off and say that you can easily avoid the other classes
Sorry, but Titans are -blam!-ing slow as shit. I'd be gone into oblivion before you could even get off the floor. GET A LIFE KID!
I gave a few comments before to help clarify some issues and give advise in the hope that you would turn out better, but if this is the way you act, like an ass with a temper tantrum, then I'm out of words. I will leave you with this, you posted on here about your issues and your beliefs about the class then got shut down by the community. Instead of embracing the critisism to become better you became hostile, and that is not a good way to make friends. You've dug yourself a hole, do find a way out before you get buried.

32 RepliesAs a veteran Warlock, I apologize to the TItans and Hunters who read this. I assure you that I, and I'm certain many other warlocks can agree, are not this stupid. This apprentice level warlock has yet to understand his place in the universe. Please find it in your radiant hearts to mercilessly destroy this fool so that the lesson can finally seep into his mind.

Hunter's throwing knife is far off from being an instant kill, and Warlock is easily most over powered character. Without a doubt. Nova Bomb is great for people who suck and need to panic kill in order to stay alive for a precious 12 seconds longer before dying once again due to not having a nova bomb.

1 ReplyEven considering some other Posts, this might literally be the dumbest, most uneducated, and biased post I've ever seen.

16 RepliesEdited by White W0lf 00: 1/12/2015 1:34:15 AMI'm going to counterattack this with facts of my own. Because I just simply do not agree with all of these. Yes some are correct, but I need to shine some light on some facts you missed or got wrong... Warlocks: You started with them so so shall I. Yes, it is true that warlocks are the most uncommon of classes, but there IS a warlock in most games. Oh and you said Warlocks were underpowered? Warlocks are definitely not underpowered at ALL my friend. Blink, is so overpowered, they bloody teleport, no way you can hit them. Warlocks have crazy inhuman regenerating abilities, you hit them, they get low health, go to cover for about 5 seconds and they come out full health again, which pisses me off so much. You said that the Hunters Super: Arc Blade has the ability to heal after each kill, and that everyone uses it. Nope. Actually I barely ever see this, its usually invisibility instead. And you also said Warlocks have nothing like that. Wrong again. Voidwalker Warlocks have a melee attack that after killing its target with melee, the Warlock restores health and reduces the cooldown of their grenades. Sunslinger Warlocks have a melee attack that ignites enemies on FIRE and can also either : Reduce the damage the warlock takes, knock enemies back or make enemies EXPLODE when you hit them. Voidwalker's super is the Nova Bomb, you thought Fist of Havoc of OP? No. This is. It is ranged and can be fired from Medium-Close range. You said its easily avoided, it is not. It moves fast, and when you see it coming toward you for that split second. You know you're dead. And even if you do manage to escape. The dome of death finishes you. Also there can be THREE Nova Bombs fired. No defense against other players? Bullshit. A guy was trying to nova bomb me at full health, I had a shotgun and he was in arms reach. I shot him as he used it and a shot that should have killed him only took away half his health, and then I died. So Nova Bomb DOES have protection, it takes off 50% of the damage coming at you. Sunslinger, by god that is overpowered. Radiance gives more effectiveness to all your abilities and you are resistant to about 50/60% of damage coming at you. It speeds up the cooldown of your grenade, and some Sunslingers get a lot of discipline, activate this, and they toss grenades every 3-5 seconds. And it can help your allies abilities as well. AND it can revive you from the DEAD exactly where you died. Titans: Much more common than Warlocks, just barely not as common as Hunters. For these guys, I have to agree with you in some things, but not everything. Firstly Strikers grenades don't kill in one hit, you're mixing them up with Sunslingers. All of their grenades are for clearing out a room or getting someone out of a position, Flashbang will blind everyone it hits so you can move in, Pulse Grenade will force enemies to move out of their position, and Lightning grenade does the same really... The Fist of Havoc is a pain. While they do have to get close to use this, it is a room clearer and there is no way you can surprise a Striker and expect a good outcome if they have that ready. And with a titans massive health, they just run at you, ignoring your bullets and killing you with Fist Of Havok. Their powerful melee can deal an area of effect damage around the target or randomly instantly replenish. Defenders can make the dome which stops all damage AND gives the Defender and their team power-ups that last a while, like damage resistance, damage increase and a temporary shield. Defenders also have a grenade that can stop enemies from using their abilities. Nuff' said. Hunters: Yes they are quick, agile and accurate, and Hunters are the most common class. ( I don't think I've ever seen a game without a single Hunter.) But the Hunter requires a lot of skill. Yes they have no defensive Subclasses, they are both offensive, but they are the easiest to shut down in my opinion when I play against and as them. And like I said earlier, I don't really ever see anyone who uses the regenerate health perk with Bladedancer. Bladedancer gets a defensive boost when activated because otherwise you would just die when you tried to get close to someone with a shotgun, and Bladedancer would just be killed all the time. And why did I say Hunter's Supers are easily shut down? Bladedancers only get a knife that instantly kills and they have to reach their target first before it can actually attack, and it is really easy to dodge. It is set on a timer, with each slash ( hit or not ) taking away time. So if you miss, you get less usage. Plus with it, you have to activate before heading into the fight, unlike all the other classes abilities where it could be used there and then. And, if a Striker or Voidwalker sees us coming, they just use their Super and we are gone. And don't even say something like ",Oh you're lying because everyone hates Bladedancer because they're OP." It's true everyone hates Bladedancers, but its because you get frustrated over the fact you got killed by something you saw coming at you and you couldn't stop it, and Bladedancers are common, so since they are common, more people are killed by them, so they start thinking about how many times its killed them, and then think its because its OP. Gunslinger is probably the most difficult and the LEAST OP SUBCLASS IN THE GAME. Yeah, the Golden Gun one hit kills. Cause its a SUPER, they all instantly kill. Also, you were so wrong about the ammo. The MAX is 4 rounds. And the real problem is, since its a gun, missing is easy and you don't get all the kills other classes get with their Supers. Gunslingers also do not get any damage resistance when doing their Super. Which is so screwed up. So yes, proved Hunters Supers are easily shut down. Gunslingers are so UNDERPOWERED, its crazy how you would think in any out of all the classes, Hunters are more OP, because they are not. Don't even say Warlocks or Titans Supers are easily shut down. Because we both know that barely ever happens. So yeah I disagree with you in some places. I'm not insulting you, or hating or whatever, I just don't exactly agree.

Yeah those hunters be hacking man. The other day this hunter kept getting 10 shots with his special.
Dumbass
-
Hunter throwing knife doesn't kill someone even with a headshot.
-
10 RepliesAs an experienced Hunter, I must note that Throwing Knife is not capable of a one-shot kill. Ever. This doesn't mean you can't put one shot in your opponent and then throw it, but the point yet stands.

Warlock for Dayz, man!

Edited by Redwood: 1/13/2015 12:58:46 AM#Warlocks4life cause we can pulverize people into a pretty purple light with the wave of a hand =D Great analysis!

Just because you edited it doesn't make you any less stupid. Originally, you asked for nerfs on all classes, and soon you were forced to eat your words as a tidal wave of facts and logic assailed you. So now the thread is completely pointless. It's basically you saying, "Hey guize wurlokz r teh very very underpowerdd so unless u use dem leik me, ur an skrub xDD"
-
3 RepliesI was prepared to type out a diatribe rebuttal of my own. Then I read this a 2nd time. Yes, I've actually read through your diatribe twice now. And all I can do is shake my head. You exaggerated every aspect of the titan and hunter abilities. Yet, you also did the opposite of the warlocks abilities. Warlocks are not underpowered by any means. Nobody agrees with you on that - except the bad kids who just want god mode in crucible. The ones that don't really care for a challenge. I could seriously spend an hour rebutting, refuting and disproving every single "point" you attempted in this post of lies. But then I realized that I really don't give a shit if you're that stupid or not. It's not my job to educate you. Your parents should be slapped for allowing you to live. I'm sure all you father wanted was a blowjob, and your mother just wanted a back rub.
-
Oh you have all characters maxed out on another profile. I totally believe you.
-
These kinds of threads between classes should be put to a permanent stop. I dont see classes being op or weak at all its just that every class excels at some department and some dont and that doesnt necessarily meen a class is op.
-
I have no idea what you're talking about. I started as a hunter. I was a hunter in beta. I was a hunter until I got level 30 (before TDB) Then I started a Titan (cuz legendary engrams give me stupid Titan armor). I messed around with that for a while and then started a warlock. Sunsinger to be specific. I am absolutely loving this class. I might switch to warlock as my main. I feel as though the classes are very balanced.

6 Replies"4-6 shots on Golden Gun". Autism detected. Determining if authentic or just a troll. Working... .... ..... ....... Autism confirmed.

1 ReplyPlayed titan since day one and I have never 1 hit someone with storm fist, it takes away their shields and small bit of health but it's never been a one shot.
-
Can't kill a Titan once he activates FoH ? Oh yes you can for sure. I've been dropped plenty of times trying to land it. I use Death from Above btw. And Titan most used class, not from my experience. I usually don't see more than 2 sometimes 3 but never more on my fireteam.

If you use self res in PvP you're bad. Thanks for the 2v1 I main a warlock

Edited by ScaldyParrot: 1/11/2015 11:29:28 AMHunter knives are NOT a ohk, u need to knock their health down a bit before u throw it

1 ReplyGet your facts straight seriously. Stopped reading at "storm fist and throwing knife are one hit kills"
-
The classes are really balanced in this game.
-
What platform do you play on?

How can you only kill a gunslinger with your supers? They're so damn easy to kill if you get the jump on them! I've done it myself!
